Kane and Big Show made me laugh because if someone asked me to put together the most boring, stale tag team of all time I'd have probably chosen them.

To spice things up he should become the Big BLUE machine. Keep the same outfit style but just replace the red with blue. Also have the commentators put over just how massive a difference this is and how Kane is completely unstoppable now. They should have tried to make a deal with Marvel Studios to promote Green Lantern and finally delivered on green Kane.

the OP is right. Kane hasn't been interesting in ages. He and Big Show need to call it quits.

Before Kane leaves he needs to have some sort of full on comedy gimmick just because.

The Dudleys in 2003-2004.
So, so stale!

Although that would make about as much sense as most of the other stuff Kane's been involved in.

Big Show is worse, anyone remember Hunter when he was with Steph and would give 20 minute promos every week to open raw burying whatever poor sap was feuding with him? American BadAss Undertaker with his blah blah blah, my yard promos. Kane has nothing on any of these. I think he actually likes playing the psycho heel, but the fans cheer him anyway, so he ends up back to where he is now.

He deserved more than he'd gotten. That's true

Rey Mysterio. At least Kane has shaken things up occasionally, had heel and faces turns, had different, albeit sometimes moronic feuds. Rey has been exactly the same since 2002, having pretty much the exact same feud again and again, just with different opponents.

Once every 5 years his character becomes interested again for 3-4 months. Unfortunately that just happened last year.

Awesome uppercut aside, I think he's pretty awful in the ring, but my only real problem with him is that he's too protected. Punk, Christian, and anyone else worth a damn should be beating him. At least he's not main-eventing anymore.

I agree that Kane needs to re-invent his character.
Badly.

I was just discussing this with my brother during Raw the other night. Kane and Big Show are a real booking nightmare for WWE at the moment. Both guys are so stale that they really can't be pushed seriously at this point since no one cares. However, both guys are huge monsters and as such really can't be used to put over people with any frequency. Thus everything involving them ends up being a lame DQ or countout that doesn't do anything for the guy they are feuding with.

I'm still a big Kane fan, although I agree that they need to do something to change his character. He needs what's happening to Mark Henry right now. Just whupping ass and not caring what people think.

It is clear to me that Kane needs to become the Big Red Pimping Machine and come to the ring wearing the stereotypical clothes as well as his outfit underneath.
Why? Why not?

Thus everything involving them ends up being a lame DQ or countout that doesn't do anything for the guy they are feuding with. The easy solution is to split them up, but keep them in the tag division. It makes sense that anyone would want either of these monsters as a tag partner but not with each other. Been done before and it's stale. But they could help freshen up the tag scene of they were split up and paired with newer guys. It would be like splitting two face cards in black jack.
