Holy crap, that's hilarious. And it's not like they chose a wrong song to overdub it, they actually mixed in Undertaker's gongs, meaning that someone thought this was a good idea. The song itself wasn't bad but for representing one of the most badass wrestlers in history? Yeah, no. Now, someone needs to mix this with the video from one of the SvR games where they had Undertaker come out with Christy Hemme's entrance motion instead. Or Brother's of Destruction with Nitro & Melina's

The only explanation that makes sense to me is that NBC somehow profits off of that song and not off of Johnny Cash. Wikipedia confirms that the two belong to different labels. NBC, IIRC, is owned by General Electric - does GE have ownership of or a partnership with Capitol Music Group? GE no longer owns NBC. Comcast now does. NBC is under the NBC Universal division.

That was hilarious, yet...it was kind of cool. Like others have mentioned, they only kept in the supernatural references, and along with the gongs, seemed to fit pretty well.
Was WWE's production company behind that too? Because if so, they REALLY do an amazing job with video packages if they could make something as hilarious as THAT work.

Then he'll have Michelle take pics of him planking. It'll be great. Only if he does it in a backstage segment, planking on some road case. A few heels come by, start making fun of him... Taker: (zombie sit-up) Chris Masters in a sombrero: CHOKESLAM FIESTA!

Why would WWE want to bury their most credible hardman character on network TV?

I do like how they changed "Kiss Me" into "Take Me" They didn't really change it, they just didn't use the kiss me line. She does say take me in the song, as well as kiss me. I wish I didn't know that lol.

I do like how they changed "Kiss Me" into "Take Me" That's the part where I lost lost it laughing. I don't wanna think about Undertaker asking HHH to 'take' him.

NBC, IIRC, is owned by General Electric - does GE have ownership of or a partnership with Capitol Music Group? I think Comcast bought the controlling share in NBC Universal, recently. Someone probably already said this, but I'm not going through pages 4 and 5 to find out.

Seriously, when the song hits that part with the lines "boy, you're my lucky star" and "for you I'd risk it all"...they cut to HHH. I thought they were gonna start making out.

At next year's WM, while Undertaker is walking down to the ring, Snoop Dogg's head should pop up in the middle of the ring and start singing.

All that was missing was Kanye interrupting HHH's Conan entrance and saying, "yo Hunter Ima let you finish...but that was the best Undertaker entrance of all time! ALL TIME!"
