Gordon was married to a Barbara and they named their children after themselves. This is Post-Crisis, 1987. His daughter Barbara is actually his niece whom they adopted at a young age. She's his brother's kid. I remember that reading that before but I didn't know if that still still was part of continuity. I like that side pic. I always thought she was wearing a full body suit though. If she's a burgler, she could have a mask at night or at a job but it's day there. Without context, we can't make too many assumptions.

Well, in a movie that has the hero routinely grabs people by the throat, make sense to have a team who are experts at choking.

That is seriously awful. It won't ruin the movie, but seriously, if your Catwoman suit is outclassed by the one from the damn Catwoman movie...

It's Anne Hathaway in a skintight leather suit. Would someone care to tell me exactly what the problem is?

While your positives are definitely noted; it's just the case of, if she's gonna be Catwoman, make her Catwoman. Put it this way, imagine her in the Michelle Pfeiffer costume or something similar. That's better than just plain black leather. Hopefully that's not the only version of the suit.

There's no "cat" motif on that outfit of which to speak. That said, this isn't a dealbreaker for me or anything, and won't hinder my ability to enjoy the film. But if they're keeping ears off of her to make things seem more realistic or whatever, well then that's just absurd in a movie with a man dressed as a bat - and a film franchise that has had Scarecrow and The Joker running around, and will have Bane wrecking things in this film. But I'm not going to judge yet since it's early and it may be before she adopts the "Cat" persona in earnest.

"Catwoman" looks like she got lost from the set of the Splinter Cell movie.

I think this is just a makeshift costume, similar to Bruce's ski-mask getup he had in Batman Begins before he got the full suit. This angle doesn't look so bad. Now we know it's not just a full black suit.

I don't mind if the costume isn't very cat-like, but I don't like that her face is basically on show.
I hope (and think) this will just be one version of the costume.

I hope we see a scene of Bruce visiting the graves of his parents at some point during the film. If anything Bane is a strong enough villain to carry a film(IMO). It'll be interesting to see how they depict his character as a ruthless, intelligent, and frightening individual who relies on his intellect/brute strength.
I really like Anne Hathaway, I really do. But I hope she doesn't have a lot of screen time and the film focuses on Bruce, Bane, Gordon, and Alfred.

That's better than just plain black leather. Hopefully that's not the only version of the suit. But all Catwoman wears is plain black leather too. The only difference is she has a cat-eared mask, cat eye shaped goggles, and metal cat claws on her fingers. Anne's outfit has the bulk of Catwoman's outfit, all she is missing, visually is the mask and claws, really. She already has goggles, albeit not shaped like cat eyes, but still she has goggles. So really, when all she's missing visually are two pieces of the entire ensemble is it really that bad? I mean hell, she looks more like Catwoman than Scarecrow looked like Scarecrow. All he had was his mask, that's it. Also, just putting it out there, she doesn't have to actually be called Catwoman in the movie. That could, realistically, give them a pass to not give her the cat ear mask and claws, because she's not being Catwoman, just Selina Kyle.

Well yeah, all she's missing from the Catwoman outfit is those two things making her look like Catwoman. And also, a few people have mentioned the Selina Kyle thing; which could be accurate, but again, if you're gonna have Catwoman in the movie, why would ya not make her Catwoman? It'd be silly just to have her alter ego. Either way, as someone said it's not a dealbreaker, but it will be silly if they go half-ass that route. So hopefully that's just the beginning.
