Man, he was...underwhelming. What was the shine on this guy, for someone who's never seen him outside of the UFC? Charismatic, crazy acting guy who gained some fame by hosting the "Bully Beatdown" show based around taking jerks and having trained MMA fighters rough them up. He also had a very close loss to Jake Shields where he almost ended the man's winning streak. Outside of that, he's basically just a good talker who got people hyped despite not having a 'big time win' in half a decade.

He has the looks of Andre the Giant, and the strength of Barry Windham. Not to mention he's a hero to a few armadillos, a kangaroo and a small herd of bison.

If Mayhem's prefight antics were such a problem...why does Tom Lawlor have a job?

Dana REALLY wanted to cut him after the Bisping fight, and seemingly gave in to his fans to give him another fight. Bad behavior or not, a win was the only thing that was going to save him as Dana made it pretty clear last time that he wasn't a fan.

UFC 147: Werdum vs. Russow will shatter all PPV records. Shatter it like a mighty hammerfist. I am at a loss for words that Mike Russow is main eventing a PPV in Brazil as of this very moment. This wouldn't even be good enough to main event a Fuel card, let alone a show where they are charging 55 DOLLARS!!!! I'm thinking Wanderlei Silva will get a new opponent and have him regain the top spot of the card. Wish it were Belcher, but he's out with a hand injury.

I used to be a fan of him but right now I'm quite frankly meh about Mayhem getting canned but in that fight C.B. Dollaway look just as bad and the fans were right to boo him out of the building. Well right now I'm beginning to wonder if all these insane weight cuts he has done haven't already started to take a toll on his body. It probably has. By the way, did you know that Cormier used to, at least for wrestling, cut below the weight that Chael Sonnen fights at now? That's crazy! I think Rumble might have just done the same thing-he messed up his body so bad it's no longer responding to weight-cutting. Wow I also recall reading some stories about how Cormier and King Mo had trouble making weight for the 2008 Olympic tryouts and how they both felt like they were going to die. And yeah It wouldn't be surprising if like Cormier; Rumble has f***ed up his body due to weight cutting and even if he hasn't not making weight again is not going to help getting back into Dana's good books. But after hearing that how Marcus Davis nearly died after attempting to make 155 again last year, I do wonder if it is only a matter of time until a Pro MMA fighter dies due to bad weight cutting.

I heard Mo walks around 205 and doesn't cut much weight either for similiar reasons, but I don't think his issues are as bad. As for Cormier, under normal circumstances, 205 is a good idea, but his kidneys are so f***ed up, and I mean f***ed up, I hope he doesn't choose to for his own sake.

Well that wouldn't be surprising as at HW, Mo was pretty much a 205er who couldn't be bothered cutting weight. Though Cormier has said that he would like to fight Jones and a couple of days ago Dana White said that he would prefer it if Cormier fights in the UFC at 205 so it sounds like there is a good chance he might make the move down sooner or later.

......Meh. I like Franklin okay, and Wanderlei's one of my favorite fighters, and one of the 4 or 5 guys that really got me into MMA, but....I'm just not excited about that news.

Well to be fair was there anyone else at 185 who could placed in a main event slot at such short notice.
Their first fight was close and now that Wanderlei has gotten used to cutting down to 185 there is a good chance he can take the rematch.

UFC 147 is shaping up to be...downright disappointing.
Sounds like Phil Davis will have to work harder for a win now. With Griggs, I was expecting another 15 minutes of ground grappling.
Ken Flo no mo. Guess we know why he was getting some try outs at announcing. Too bad he could never get a belt. He's not a Hall of Famer, but he'll be someone who gets mentioned from time to time.

He fought in more weight classes than anyone and was a perpetual contender. Might make it in someday.

Slightly concerned as EA Sports MMA was TERRIBLE.

Yeah, I'm VERY skeptical, THQ did really good with the UFC franchise, here's hoping EA doesn't send it down the shitter.

So DREAM has folded, and within seconds basically :-P , their BW Champ has signed with the UFC.
EDIT: Should probably mention the dudes name, Bibiano Fernandes. Definitely one of the top fighters outside Zuffa
