Slightly concerned as EA Sports MMA was TERRIBLE. Speak for yourself. I think this has huge potential. They can polish up EA MMA into an absolute monster, and with the UFC license its bound to be a winner. I quite enjoyed the EA game. If they combine the best of the two, they've definitely got a winner.

I would love for JDS-Cain II to happen ASAP. I'm sick of the HW title only being defended what feels like once a year.

Jones, Cruz, and Aldo honestly seem to be the only UFC Champs that defend consistantly nowadays.

Jones, Cruz, and Aldo honestly seem to be the only UFC Champs that defend consistantly nowadays. Cruz has only defended his belt twice, and is currently likely out for a year

I don't mean to be an asshole but, how many of these guys are actually hurt? It seems like damn near everyone gets hurt before big fights these days.

Christ almighty, is EVERY champ except for Bones injured? Silva is still up to fight Sonnen and JDS might be fine after his fight/foreplay with Frank Mir.

UFC on FX 3 took place at BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise, Fla., and featured the promotion's first-ever flyweight headliner with Demetrious Johnson vs. Ian McCall II.
The two-hour main card, which boasted four fights on FX, endured a decrease of 300,000 viewers (21 percent) from the 1.4 million that tuned in for March's UFC on FX 2 event. With January's UFC on FX 1 event drawing 1.3 million viewers, the UFC on FX 3 ratings now represents the smallest total audience in the short history of the series.
The three-hour preliminary card, which featured Mike Pierce outwrestling Carlos Eduardo Rocha en route to an oddly-scored split-decision win, featured six bouts and saw a decrease of 29,000 viewers from UFC on FX 2, netting an average of 84,000 viewers for the broadcast.
Earlier this year, the UFC moved much of its live-event programming from Spike TV to FX and FUEL TV thanks to the seven-year deal with FOX. All three UFC on FX events have aired on Friday nights.
The complete list of ratings figures for UFC on FX events as compiled by MMAjunkie.com includes: •UFC on FX 2: Alves vs. Kampmann - 1.4 million viewers •UFC on FX 1: Guillard vs. Miller - 1.3 million viewers •UFC on FX 3: Johnson vs. McCall - 1.1 million viewers
And the corresponding ratings figures for FUEL TV's "UFC Prelims" broadcasts include: •UFC on FX 1: Guillard vs. Miller - 148,000 viewers •UFC on FX 2: Alves vs. Kampmann - 113,000 viewers •UFC on FX 3: Johnson vs. McCall - 84,000 viewers

It has been announced that for the next season of the Ultimate Fighter, the live format will be ditched and episodes will be taped again like all other previous seasons.

That situation with Fernandes is odd to say the least.
Taped or live, I have zero interest in TUF.
And Tito Ortiz will be inducted into the UFC HOF before UFC 148.

I don't mean to be an asshole but, how many of these guys are actually hurt? It seems like damn near everyone gets hurt before big fights these days. All of them. Everyone fights pretty banged up. Before the UFC had an insurance policy, fighters couldn't afford to pull out of a fight. They would have pay for the injury AND and lose out on a payday. Now, they would only lose out on a payday, but the UFC pays for injury, to a certain limit.

It's been weird seeing the increase in injuries and fight pullouts over the last few years and I didn't understand why. Thanks for clearing that up.
