Guess what folks... you can now add Minotauro Nogueira to the list of fighters who have been injured as he has pulled out his UFC 149 bout with Cheick Kongo and has been replaced by Shawn Jordan.

And just in case you thought that there were going to be no more fighters pulling out of fights because of injures think again. Luiz Cané who was supossed to make his middleweight debut at UFC 150 against Yushin Okami has now pulled out and has been replaced by Rousimar Palhares.

Well, at least that opens up the possibility of Palhares having one of his hallmark crazy moments again. Though, Cane...wouldn't he be a pretty massive middleweight, reach-wise?

He would as I think Cane would be tied with Anderson having the longest reach at 185. But while it would be nice to see another WTF Palhares moment I have a feeling that Okami will play this one safe and will just grind out a decision over him.

I love speculating about "What if?" weight class change scenarios. For instance, I think Pat Barry's stock would go up immediately if he dropped down to Lightheavyweight.

Well it would be intriguing to see how Barry would perform at LHW though would he able to cut down would be the question. Also Dan Hardy vs Amir Sadollah has been signed on for UFC on Fuel 5.

Here's my question...is Dan Hardy still on "Do or Die"? Does one win really cancel out his completely floundering in the weight class?

I hope so. It's hilarious just how far a bad mohawk can get you.

Well I have a feeling that since he won his last fight with a solid knockout It might take losing two in a row and then he is canned. But most likely he would be back after a couple of wins against cans in Bellator or Shark Fights.

Dan Hardy, in my eyes, is definitive proof of hire/fire hypocrisy of the UFC.

Dan Hardy, in my eyes, is definitive proof of hire/fire hypocrisy of the UFC. What exactly is the policy, if a concrete one exists? For instance, I'm still flabbergasted that Brandon Vera's employed, but not sure if that's justified.

For instance, I'm still flabbergasted that Brandon Vera's employed, but not sure if that's justified. Personally, I believe the policy is this: 1. Does Dana White like you? 2. Do fans like you? (The "Dollars are Thicker Than Talent" rule) 2a. Are you foreign? 2b. If 2a applies, are you popular in said country? ("Euros/Pounds are Thicker Than Talent" rule) 3. No, really...does Dana like you? 3a. If not, you may only lose one to two fights. (The "Jon Fitch" rule) 3b. If so, don't worry. Pick up a win every 4th fight and you're great. 4. Are you "exciting." (The "Pat Barry Rule") 5. Do you support EA You worthless piece of[Rule Redacted.] 6. Did you kill anyone? Don't worry, unborn babies don't count (The "Rampage Jackson" rule) 7. Were you a jerk on Twitter? (The "Rampage Jackson" rule Part 2). 7a. Did you seriously make a freaking RAPE joke? YOU MORON. (The "Miguel Torres" rule.) ...and that's all I got.

Well thing is if Thiago Silva hadn't pissed hot Vera would be out the UFC as of now because he was actually cut after his lost to silva but when the fight was changed to a NC they had to rehire him. But Dana White has said two or three bad loses and a fighter will be cut but it really depends on how popular the fighter.

Quotes from Anderson Silva on a presser today.
Apparently he then hung up and stormed out of Blackhouse pissed off like no one has ever seen him before.

That's gonna be one hell of a fight, and...I honestly don't know who I'm rooting for. I know that Sonnen seems to have the infatuation of the internet crowd, but the dude just gives me straight up douche chills. And Silva....well, for as ungodly skilled as the dude is, his general demeanor seems the same. I don't think I have a horse in this race, but it'll be fun to watch.
