Technically off topic, but since this is the general MMA thread....there is no single feeling more satisfying than a one punch knockout in UFC Undisputed 3. One solid uppercut from Ben Rothwell, and suddenly Brendan Schaub is on the mat, face down and twitching. So much fun.

That's gonna be one hell of a fight, and...I honestly don't know who I'm rooting for. I know that Sonnen seems to have the infatuation of the internet crowd, but the dude just gives me straight up douche chills. And Silva....well, for as ungodly skilled as the dude is, his general demeanor seems the same. I don't think I have a horse in this race, but it'll be fun to watch. Chael's doucheyness is all for show, really. Every fan interaction I've ever read about the guy talks about how gracious and nice he was to the fans. I've also never heard a bad word about him from people who've interviewed him for various media. He's a funny d-bag, but he's a nice guy. That said, I desperately need him to beat Anderson Silva. I'm the biggest Sonnen supporter of all my friends who are MMA fans, and they're all trying to tell me that it's just a forgone conclusion that Silva is winning, as if Chael didn't beat his ass four straight rounds last time. Anderson Silva just pisses me off, and I really want Chael to embarass him.

That alone makes all his s*** talk worth it.

Overeem on UFC Tonight highlights.
-At the time he didn't understand why he was denied his license. Claims he knows the rules now. -Says the T:E test result was caused by “something he was given by a licensed doctor”. (Florian specifically brought up the 14:1 ratio) -Says he tests himself independently now once a month to show how much a model citizen he is. -Claims he's got a better medical staff now so that it doesn't happen again. -Said multiple times he wants to prove he is a clean fighter. -Struggled during a question about the media scrutiny, trying to say he doesn't pay attention to it. -He said that the fans have been very supportive of him during this difficult time. -Says he'll be back in the Octagon in December for the title. -The commission told him it wouldn't be a problem to fight in December. -Believes he deserves his title fight in his first fight back, but knows it's not for him to decide. Regardless he wants Dos Santos.

Hopefully when/if he comes back, he's able to keep himself steady and kicking ass unassisted.

While I don't hate him, personally I reckon Sonnen's antics got old long ago and if he loses to Anderson again. There is a good chance he will soon be back to being irrelevant and I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of his fanboys jump ship.

I watched the interview and it came across like he was playing "big dumb fighter with many evil people in his ear". I love to watch him fight and he has that star quality that 97% of fighters don't have, but his UFC run has been a comedy of errors. Waiting 21 days to get a urine sample, running away when confronted by a surprise drug test (the one he failed) and going all the the way to Texas to see a doctor about his "testosterone deficiency". In no way does he come across as sincere.

Terry Etim is out of UFC on Fox 4 with an injury. A new opponent will have to be found for Joe Lauzon.
The injuries keep on coming.

There is a good chance he will soon be back to being irrelevant and I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of his fanboys jump ship. Considering the fact that he's been contacted by WWE three or four times, having friendships with Gerald Brisco and CM Punk, I wouldn't be shocked at all if he headed towards WWE should he lose.

So hey, someone educate my casual fan ass on Brad Pickett, because if he's half as fun to watch as he is to play in UFC 3, I may have a new favorite fighter.

Two fights in the UFC, two Fight of The Nights. Record not super elite at 21-6 but the guy can fight at a real high level. Anyone who gets Mike Goldberg and Dana to say he's one of their favorite fighters to watch is probably worth your time and support Spanky.

And the injuries just keep on coming as Siyar Bahadurzada has announced on his twitter that he has pulled out of UFC 149 bout with Chris Clements due to an undisclosed injury.
He will be replaced by Chris Clements.

Well if anyone was wondering how Joe Daddy Stevenson has been doing since he was cut from the UFC. He had his first fight since being cut and lost to Dakota Cochrane (you know the guy from the tuf 15 tryouts who had been moonlighting in gay porn) and is now on a 5 fight losing streak.

And the ever growing list of injured fighters on the UFC 149 card continues.... as Claude Patrick is now out of his bout with James Head and will be replaced by Brian Ebersole. Is UFC 149 now the must injury cursed card in MMA history?
