he looks like Creed Bratton And he sounds like he's doing a lazy "SNL Celebrity Jeopardy Sean Connery" impression.

Revelations looks absolutely atrocious! Damn my cinemasochism for being extremely curious to watch it! I'll probably end up watching it for the same reason. I've seen every damn movie in the series despite the fact that they just keep getting progressively dumber, so the completionist in me will probably force me to rent it at some point. * sigh * Man, I really love the first three flicks in the series, even Hell on Earth, which everyone else seems to dislike. You got your introductory New Hope entry, your dark-as-hell middle chapter, and the third with happy Ewoks running around. They're great. Everything else after? Yikes.

I just said a page or so ago that I enjoyed HELL ON EARTH. It's not necessarily a great horror story, but it's still a fun ride. And of course, the first 2 are excellent. I now have the first 4 HELLRAISER flicks, and HELLSEEKER. Haven't seen INFERNO in years, or the 2 (now 3) that come after HELLSEEKER. Maybe I'll buy the ones I don't have on the cheap one of these days.

I was referring to a few other places here on the interwebz where I've defended the movie and summarily been ripped to shreds. Just thought I'd clarify.

I actually enjoyed Hellword, even if it would have been better without dragging Pinhead into the mix (as he felt like a forced third wheel).

One more Hellraiser: Revelations note.
Clive Barker said on Twitter:
"Hello, my friends. I want to put on record that the flic out there using the word Hellraiser is no f***in' child of mine. I have nothing to do with the f***in' thing. If they claim its from the mind of Clive Barker,it's a lie. It's not even from my butt-hole."
I hope they put that on the DVD Cover.

He'll take credit for Clive Barker's Jericho, but not this. Just says it all, don't it?

I love how he swears like a sailor for most of the tweet, but uses butt-hole instead of ass-hole at the end.

Well, since this horror thread has gone so swimmingly and we're rapidly approaching page #30...are there any suggestions for HOF inductions? People that we've praised, or that deserve the honor regardless of that semi-rule? I'm drawing a blank.

Geez, I'm drawing a blank. You mind giving us the list of who's already been inducted, to give me a better idea of what I'm running with? I don't remember them all.

Hey guys...you know that Hellraiser movie I kind of, sort of brought up? Would you believe that that the studio (Dimensions) just happen to be doing the SAME DAGGONE THING with another horror series? I present to you... Children of the Corn: GenesisYes, another throw-away movie to retain rights for a later remake. Some "Good Signs" about the movie [Courtesy of UpcomingHorrorMovies.com]: ~It was originally titled "The Dweller." ~The film reportedly received a very silent and limited theatrical showing in California on March 17th 2011, where it apparently only opened to one theater (!?) and for one night only. ~Went under reshoots to flesh out a prologue with more "creepy kiddos". ~Kelen Coleman and Tim Rock play the couple who "fall under the thrall of [Billy] Drago and [Barbara] Nedejakova's characters - and their 'Corn' kid." [So...Adults.] ~Writer/director Joel Soisson is no stranger to straight-to-DVD efforts (or sequels), having written the Prophecy and Dracula 2000 sequels and also recently directing the Pulse DVD follow-ups. More Movie Stills (Behind the scene and from film) avaiable at: www.upcominghorrormovies.com/tags/image-galleries/children-corn-genesisHoo-rah.

I should do a double feature of Hellraiser: Revelations and Children of the Corn: Genesis.

People that we've praised, or that deserve the honor regardless of that semi-rule? I'm drawing a blank. I did throw a nod Olivia Hussey's way a while back. And Clint Howard's been suggested a few times throughout the threads, hasn't he? Beyond them, there's the people I've always wanted to see inducted, but they don't exactly fit the mold of who you've got in thus far (y'know, guys like Lon Chaney Jr. or John Carradine). *shrug* Also, in honor of the horrible new HELLRAISER movie, you can check out my sig for a much better idea for a flick. ;D
