SInce moving here about a month ago, I've been wanting to check out some indy wrestling. However, a Google search doesn't really turn up any local promotions. Does anybody know of a place where I can get some indy action in Sin City? Thanks!

There is a group called "Future Stars of Wrestling" there.

I'm from Vegas. For a long time, there was nothing, but FSW runs there now. I checked out their facilities about a year ago. They seem to run a good quality promotion and use some good, veteran talent mixed in with their trainees.

Future Stars of Wrestling has a show on Sunday at Sam's Town. Tickets start at $12 according to their website. Probably worth a peek if you wanna see some live action. Got a good match between Brandon Gaston and Kenny King lined up it looks like.

I know 'em because they unified with a outfit out in AZ, and now both are one group, mine is now called FSW Arizona.

There are a couple of them, let me go find my list of NorCal indy promotions, because I might have stuck ones from Vegas on there too. I know I listed Reno promotions. If not I can snoop around on Facebook and find some stuff.

Kay, apparently I didn't put it on my list and what with the whole Timeline thing on Facebook I can't figure out how to find anything. Other than FSW there's a promotion called Adrenaline Unleashed. Looks like most of their talent is from their school. Take that for what it's worth. www.facebook.com/AdrenalineUnleashedI'm sure there's more stuff out there if you look but FSW is probably your best bet unless you want to drive elsewhere for wrestling, at which point I would say just go for PWG.

Smackdown tapes here in a few weeks. I usually end up seeing some peeps pass out FSW fliers whenever I go to the WWE shows, so showing up may be a good way to find out who else is out there.

FSW in Vegas is actually a really good promotion. I attended a show last April plus seen their guys work here in Arizona back when FSW AZ was EXW. Plus, I still attend the FSW AZ shows.
Mike Modest, who worked for WCW as well as being featured on Beyond the Mat, is their head trainer. They have a VERY strong roster & some of our AZ guys will be there this Sunday to unify the championships.

That's cool. Thanks for all of the advice. There's a possibility that I might pull out my old referee shirt to work for FSW a little bit. Just have to decide if I really want to get back into that world again, or enjoy being a spectator.
