I watch the Young and the Restless and Bold and the beautiful everyday and I gave up on Days of Our Lives years ago.
I was allowed to stay up past bedtime if I sat still and watched the night soaps with mom and I've been hooked ever since.

I watched Days of Our Lives in the early 90s because my sisters got really into it and since then I stuck around here and there. Carrie Brady was a crush of mine. I tune in once and a while.
My mom watched All My Children and I'd watch with her sometimes. I remember the Tad/Ted storyline a little. On and off over the years, I'd check it out till they cancelled it.

I used to watch the Y&R and Bold and Beautiful combo as a kid, but I stopped about eight years ago or so. Now, I don't watch any daytime soaps but am a huge fan of Twin Peaks (which was basically a nighttime soap) and the new Revenge show on ABC.
