After they started 2-0 someone here asked me what the Jets would need to do for me to admit the Jets werent overrated and overhyped.
*looks at last 2 weeks*

Lol it looks like when we say "same old Lions" now, we're gonna be talking about comebacks lol. However while any win is a good win, they can't do that every single week. It eventually catches up to you.
Although the same old Lions did show up yesterday in terms of stupid penalties. If they can get that ironed out, and get off to better starts, then the sky is the limit.
And one last thing. Yeah Romo threw those 3 picks, but the Lions still had to take advantage of them. It's like Aikman said when Stafford threw his pick in the first drive. Getting an interception is meaningless if you do nothing with it. So there it is.
Go Lions! Restore the roar!

You have to figure this will catch up to the Lions eventually. You can't expect to come back in every game and still win.

Yeah that was me... Jets suck, Sanchez is over-rated, Ryan is fat, blah blah blah blah blah. I need something to do next week so I don't have to watch them get creamed by the Patriots

Another Green Bay touchdown, it's 49-17. Green Bay's good, but I don't think Denver's completely trying. I don't think they're the only team that is holding back, in hopes of getting Andrew Luck. Andrew Luck is going to Minnesota ...Although if Russell Wilson keeps on putting on performances like he did Saturday Night, it could make for an interesting Draft ... Minnesota is going to have a hard time justifying it after taking Ponder this year.

Henne hasn't looked terrible, but he hasn't shown enough to change many peoples' minds about needing a new QB. Plus, Sparano is more than likely fired. The Vikings, as you said, drafted Ponder. Hell the whole purpose of trading for McNabb was so Ponder didn't have to play as a rookie. As for Russell Wilson, I doubt he makes it THAT interesting because he's a damn good baseball prospect. Only reason he isn't at NC State anymore is because O'Brien didn't want him after he reported to Single A during the offseason for the Rockies. If anybody is gonna make it interesting it's Landry Jones, Matt Barkley, or MAYBE Robert Griffen III.

They're gonna give you a fight every week. I just dont feel they are a *great* team. Sanchez is overrated, but by no means is he a terrible QB ( for a terrible AND very overrated QB,see: Romo, Tony). I think he's a victim of the media and sometimes, his coach.

Sanchez is only 21 years old, and he had like 1 full season under his belt in college. The kid is still developing even though its his 3rd year.

Last night, Sanchez was also a victim of his offensive line. Yikes. Guess it shows you just how important Mangold (and his glorious mane and beard) is to that team.

The Jets were foolish to think that Tomlinson was gonna be anywhere near what he was last year. Granted it's early, but I just dont see him doing as much

Remember with the rookie wage scale, it makes it easier to have two high paying QBs on the roster, they won't eat a chunk of your cap space. But Minnesota needs to look at receivers, and interior linemen. But they have to start Ponder now, they can't wait until Week 14, give him 2 games and the QB situation still in the air heading into the offseason. 12 games should be sufficient.

Granted it's early, but I just dont see him doing as much I think they're trying to turn him into a poor mans Brad Smith by having him receive more than rush, which is pretty stupid seeing than they can pretty much get Brad Smith back from Buffalo for next to nothing.

I didnt understand why they allowed Brad Smith to get away in the first place. Then again, their whole offseason was baffling to me. Yes, I know they had their eye on Asomugha, but to not have any kind of backup plan? Stupid

Sanchez is only 21 years old, and he had like 1 full season under his belt in college. The kid is still developing even though its his 3rd year. He's actually 24 and will be 25 in November. Now this may come off as me being a hater as I'm a Fin fan, but I don't think the Jets offense is the right one for Sanchez. For a West Coast Offense, I think he's a great fit; he played in the WCO in college and excelled in it, plus it is built around quicker routes which is what Sanchez is also good at. He struggles when he has to read the entire field and go deep all the time, b ut when he's hitting Holmes/Burress/Keller short and giving them a chance to get YAC he shows some ability. Difference there is that Jimmy was a 2nd round pick whose contract is not garunteed. Ponder was picked in the first half of the first round. He'll get more chances than just one. Plus, from what I've seen, the bigger issues for the Vikings are an aging defense and an aging OL.

It's surreal seeing a guy who got to two AFC Championship games in a row being debated about like this (not that don't agree with the debate; Sanchez has flaws and the Jets' offensive setup might not fit him). Though people still think Eli Manning is an awful QB and he's a Super Bowl MVP.
