So I have a friend who works at A&M and he says he's talked to many higher ups there who say they got word that the Longhorns will NOT schedule the Aggies in any sports if A&M leaves for the SEC. The only way they will schedule a game is if it is televised on the Longhorn Network.

Ok, now that our heat is passed;
A&M to the SEC is becoming a more possible scenareo. The rumor mentioned before about Georgia, SC and FL putting the kibosh is plausible but if Alabama, Arkansas, LSU, Ole Myth ect. want it than it's a go. BTW, AR plays A&M in Jerry world once a year anyway in what has become a big draw moneywise for the venue and the schools. Guess who is an AR alumnus? Jerry Jones. Deep pockets and deep connections to the wealthy alums from SEC schools. The possibility of Jerry World hosting more than just A&M/AR but also possible hostage of the SEC championship game every few years or the occasional LSU/A&M or fill in the blank SEC team vs say Oklahoma in Jerry world is an attractive enough venture for Jerry to exert his power. Just my thoughts and I could be waaaay off base

ESPN reporting eight Hurricanes--including Jacory Harris-- have been ruled ineligible by the school pending the inevitable suspensions.

Rumor is that SMU is now lobbying for A&M's spot in the Big 12.

Rumor is that SMU is now lobbying for A&M's spot in the Big 12. I get why SMU would want to do so, to finally be back in a "big boy" conference, and it would be the final piece of their return from the death penalty, but I think they'll be torn apart in the Big 12. They aren't even the best team in C-USA right now(they are one of the best teams, though, for sure, but Tulsa is up there with them). But hell, even if they get their ass kicked, I would love to see them return to a major conference.

How can one person have 49 pairs of shoes? I think the better question is how can one man have 49 pairs of shoes. It isn't unheard of for women to have that many shoes, if not more.

Funny how Michigan scheduled them after everybody on the 2007 team is long gone.

I'm seriously considering going to the Alabama/Michigan game at the Cowboy's stadium at the open of the 2012 season. That's just got magic written all over it.

My brothers and I are definitely going to do it. I realistically don't think we'll be able to beat Bama but who knows by then? It'll be Denard's senior season.
