Dan Wetzel went on the radio and said he has gotten in contact with some NCAA guys about this story.
They told him this is the single biggest case they've ever seen.
This going to make a good sequel to the other Miami 30 for 30 episode

Could this potentially lead to a death penalty for Miami? I mean over 70 athletes? You know the punishment will be severe, but could it possibly be death penalty severe?

A "Death Penalty" isn't out of the question. For a middle finger to the NCAA this big, for this long, the punishment has to fit the crime. I wouldn't be surprised if the NCAA does this to Miami:

Over 70 athletes, in an 8 year span, with some knowledge by coaches and Miami faculty. It wouldn't surprise me at all if they get the Death Penalty. I know I said in a previous thread that the NCAA would do everything in their power to not give the Death Penalty, but this is worthy of it. Hell, they may burn the program down and salt the ground.

Goodness, if Miami doesn't get the Death Penalty, I'd be amazed.

NO chance Miami gets the death penalty. NCAA saw what that did to SMU when it was still somewhat popular so there is no way they do that to one of their biggest cash cows.

Well, Miami will need some new coaches after they get all their scholarships taken away. How about:
Jim Tressel: HC Butch Davis: DC Mike Leach: OC
Mark Mangino: catering Mike Price: Stripper coordinator George O'Leary: Academic compliance

OK, I don't like Florida, and Tebow got on my nerves, but paying players to take out other players? That's just flat out scumbag.

Wow...
And see, this is why I don't think anyone of any value is clean in college football. This is huge and it went on for a long time, but you can be damn sure boosters every where and trying this.

Exactly. Hate to say it, but pretty much every successful program out there is doing it, that's why I always thought the, "Should college football players get paid?" argument to be funny, they are already getting paid!

Just read that two of Miami's coaches that were there during 2010, which were named in this scandal are working at Bama now. Saban...fire these guys...now.
