Sending to judges in an hour. Directions weren't followed, but I'm waiting one more hour for it to get corrected. Otherwise, judges are going at these picks regardless.

Some good picks here. Very diverse lot of choices. Should be an interesting round to score.

Man, that was a marathon right there! Great choices all around. Will be awesome to read the final results and see the breakdown. Anybody's game at this point.

Got my rankings in. Sorry it took so long. I opened the PM yesterday and then forgot about it until I got on today.
Some people really went right for my emotions with those picks. Good grief.

I'm pretty sure I can figure out which one that was cause it makes me cry everytime I see it to. Sorry I keep posting here after I've been eliminated I just love this game so much and like to share my thoughts occasionally. also I got to say great choices all around for this round if I was still in the game I don't know if I would of done as good as some of these picks also one of the picks used for the Double Dip round was what I would went with.

Very tense indeed. A range of TWO points separates this week's Top 3. We have had a string of all 1st place scores for one contestant in one of the categories, a rarity for this late in the game (compared to FAN Idol, that is). We have three different categories and three different contestants at the top of each theme's leaderboard. And the shocker . . . one of those is in this week's bottom 2! {Spoiler} ![](http://i42.tinypic.com/2006694.jpg) Since the top of the bottom 2 has already exhausted his personal theme, a coin flip has determined the head-to-head for the Bottom 2. {Spoiler}A series of pop culture mediums were selected. Out of those, two have been chosen via the coin flip. Each of you will send ANY free choice clip from the wide world of SPORTS and any free choice clip from the realm of MOVIES. All of the judges votes will be compiled and the one with the highest ranking out of the 10 separate judges scores will advance. In the event of a 5-5 tie, a special announcement will be made. (And if anyone sees anything off in the rankings, you can holler. It gets crazy with so many themes and so many rankings and such. Also, with changes and what-not, info just flies around everywhere. Those who have hosted FAN Idol know what I'm talking about.)

you have TBK down for two 3's (me and Stinger) and no 5 in the third category Pegasus. It has no impact on the bottom two, but if Stinger got the 5 he goes to the top of the board.

Whew. I was really nervous for this round. Guess you're always in good hands with The Doctor.

That was the last column I assigned the rankings to, and I was unreasonably rushed. EDIT: And I hate excuse-makers. The short end of it is that I screwed up. No sense in that. Sorry, folks.

Montage
With or Without You/Elisabeth Sladen This one was pretty good, but it felt sort of generic.
Say (All I Need)/Doctor Who This was pretty good. I enjoyed it quite a bit. Working in the audio clips helped as well.
Fix You/Friday Night Lights When it doesn't focus on one thing, a video like this tends to feel like a clip show.
Baba O'Riley/John Hughes When it doesn't focus on one thing from one story, a video like this tends to feel like a clip show of a clip show.
So Long & Thanks.../Hitchhiker's Guide... This shouldn't work out of context... but it does. It just does.
Believe/Shawn Michaels The clips really don't tell a story - they just kinda jump all around his career with no rhyme or reason. That keeps it from being great, but it's still damn good.
Hip To Be Square/American Psycho Great, great clip... but it's not a montage.

-----
Monologues
"Always Be Closing"/Glengarry Geln Ross The typical 'good pick in a stacked round' pick.
"I'm As Mad As Hell"/Network Iconic for a damn good reason.
"Acceptance Speech"/Brian's Song Another great pick. They're all great picks.
"Don't Give Up"/Jimmy Valvano We can stop the competition right here.
"Good Evening, London"/V for Vendetta This could be a speech that becomes a rallying cry for the ages. Right now, it means it's time to troll the local Church of Scientology.
"Don't Give Up"/Jimmy Valvano "I'm As Mad As Hell"/Network "Acceptance Speech"/Brian's Song "Good Evening, London"/V for Vendetta "Always Be Closing"/Glengarry Geln Ross

Double Dip
Note - I ranked these in two ways. Numper one was the quality of the pick itself, which was the far bigger factor. The other (smaller) way was how it compares to the other picks you *could* have made. Basically, if you're going to pick from something a second time, is it really the best example you had at your disposal?
Wesley vs Inigo/Princess Bride Goofy fun.
Hurt/Eddie Guerrero This was a brilliant pick.
Why So Serious?/Dark Knight One of our generations greatest performances. I say that without hyperbole.
I Had A Dream Once/Boondocks Defining moment of the series... in an absolutely stacked round.
MacBeth/Animaniacs What I loved about Animaniacs: A sketch like that ended with a Jerry Lewis punchline. What I loathed about Animaniacs: A sketch like that ended with a Jerry Lewis punchline.
Trailer/Harry Potter 7 Pt. 2 Didn't like this trailer too much. Too much blockbuster, not enough Potter magic.

Let me state for the record, that the Eddie Guerrero tribute and the Jimmy V speech never fail to bring a tear to my eye.
Brilliant picks, and I love you guys for picking them.

It was a fantastic head-to-head as we cut now to the Top 4. J, you chose "Shoot 'em Up" to go up against Brainbustaaah's "Terminator 2." 3 judges to 2, the winner there was ... {Spoiler}J!!! That means Brainbustaaah must win by at least one vote in Sports to stay alive ... In sports, Brainbustaaah chose "The Play" while J chose to wow us with Messi's mad skills. With a judges preference of 4 to 1 ... {Spoiler}Brainbustaaah takes it! This means Brainbustaaah will live to see another round.
J, we all fully enjoyed your run in this inaugural event. Always fun to see your picks on games like this!

Both movie clips were fun (and I like both movies), but I hate George Thurogood. So SHOOT 'EM UP wins for not using "Bad to the Bone".
I enjoy soccer, but the video needed to be half as long as it was. Sorry.
