[glow=gray,2,300]WELCOME TO ROUND TEN![/glow]READ CAREFULLY PLEASENow, contestants, we are down to 4. This round, please take note: you will be submitting FOUR choices since the field has been reduced. At the end of this round, there will be a Bottom 2 and that Bottom 2 will be going head-to-head into an elimination challenge just as we've done in previous rounds. If you are in the Bottom 2 and you have exhausted your category theme, then a coin flip will determine your 2 head-to-head pop culture mediums. This round is ... All About MoviesThis is a MEDIUM-SPECIFIC round. Choices must be a movie clip. For this theme, contestants, you will have four film categories. Each of the 4 contestants must choose a clip of the following types: 1. Horror/Suspense/Thriller 2. Comedy 3. Western 4. Film Noir That's it. Simple as that. You submit your picks to pegasuswarrior via PM. I'll sort it out, send it to the judges, and all that. If you have a question, just ask. Deadline is Monday night. I would like to sort it all out and send to judges by Tuesday morning.

As per usual, we had some duplication problems and have now sorted that out. (There's no crime in sending in a 1st, 2nd, 3rd choice as a just in case in order to save time.) Judges are now judging. The list is below. ***MAJOR MAJOR SPOILER ALERTS*** I loved re-living the scenes of all these movies I've seen (totally marking out for some), but if you ever plan on seeing any of the titles below, I'd steer clear of the clips. *language warnings* Horror, Suspense, or ThrillerPsycho - The Shower www.youtube.com/watch?v=0WtDmbr9xyYSeven - "What's in the box?!" www.youtube.com/watch?v=1giVzxyoclE&feature=relatedThe Taking of Pelham 123 www.youtube.com/watch?v=M-XWhH2VSXkThe Shining www.youtube.com/watch?v=WDpipB4yehk----------------------------------- ComedyBilly Madison www.youtube.com/watch?v=YGeFi3Ap61E&feature=relmfuAnchorman - Fight Scene (Brick killed a guy) www.youtube.com/watch?v=TvY51HF3tNAPlanes, Trains, and Automobiles www.youtube.com/watch?v=u2pu0m9iTo4A Night At The Opera - ...And Two More Hard-Boiled Eggs www.youtube.com/watch?v=RocGJA3Mi1M------------------------------- WesternThe Assassination of Jesse James by The Coward Robert Ford www.youtube.com/watch?v=BHpYXIwYli8&feature=relatedThe Good, the Bad and the Ugly - Standoff www.youtube.com/watch?v=sXldafIl5DQShane www.youtube.com/watch?v=WDDOd8kGBXo3:10 to Yuma - "They had lots of weapons, Mister." www.youtube.com/watch?feature=fvwp&NR=1&v=n35vKJ8N0mg---------------------------------- Film NoirThe Big Sleep www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sqoxk3SrZRwSunset Blvd. - "It's the pictures that got small." www.youtube.com/watch?v=TMUJpec6Bdc&feature=relmfuThe Maltese Falcon - Let's Talk About the Bird www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yiq5Fkr3yX8Strangers on a Train www.youtube.com/watch?v=csE9FuQVJ1s

You guys absolutely killed this round. You managed to get both of my favorite comedies in there and the scene that terrified me more than anything as a kid.
And holy crap the Noir category. I had such a hard time picking between the four that I had to watch them all a few times.
Seriously. I enjoyed practically every clip. Bravo.

Warning you now - no reviews for my rankings. My girlfriend is sick, I'm about to be sick, and I had to have a bunch of movies spoiled for me so... not exactly talkative.

Just waiting on one judge's results. If it doesn't get in by a reasonable time tonight, it might be as late as tomorrow night before you get the results. Full day tomorrow. I could feasibly type up results in the wee hours of tomorrow morning, but there are a lot of factors that play into that.
Great picks though.

And mine are in. First chance I've had to sit down and watch 16 YT videos.

Sorry about that. I understand the judges' pain in having to make time for 16 videos. Totally understandable. Putting together results takes a little bit too, especially when there are questions and what-not. I got delayed a day because I got results in a day later than was expected, but again, all of that is understandable--it was quite a few videos. It was a terrific round. There is no doubt why these are our Top 4 after seeing these picks hit the board. So here are your results for Round 10: {Spoiler} Unfortunately, there had to be a bottom 2 this week. One of our contestants finds himself there for the first time. The priority/reward for that is that this week's elimination head-to-head will be the preference ... {Spoiler}Great Sports Calls. Choose any broadcast moment from any sport you so choose. No montage or anything. Just a single great sports call from the broadcast booth. It all rides on this head-to-head and five judges. Good luck to both, as you have both been such good competitors.

I'm kind of sad to see Planes Trains and automobiles didn't do good with the judges that was a great movie probably my favorite on the list next to Billy Madison.

I didn't think that scene was particularly strong, compared to the Anchorman and the Night at the Opera ones. This was the toughest round by far and there were several categories where all the picks were solid; it's just that, there have to be winners and losers. Great job all around guys and good luck on the Elimination round.

meh, figured this would happen, at least it's my category. I wish I knew what I did to Notorious and DSR to get them to not bury me though...

Unfortunately I also love Billy Madison and Anchorman (Probably my two favorite comedies.) Your pick in that category made me realize how much you guys messed up when nobody picked the "I like me." speech for the monologues round.
