I'd like to first start off this thread by saying that in no way shape or form am I trying to insinuate that TNA is being racist. And maybe it's because it's black history month, but I've noticed for a while now that Impact only has two gentlemen of the African American persuasion on their roster. Maybe that in itself makes me racist, I don't know. I guess I'm wondering why TNA hasn't sought out more wrestlers of color. Now, I'm not saying they should just be hired because of their race, but there are definitely quite a few black dudes out there that I think should be hired just for their talent. Two in particular that I've always enjoyed watching are Shelton Benjamin and MVP. Two guys I legitimately believe could have world champs in WWE. I also had a lot of faith in Bobby Lashley, but well I don't know that TNA would want him back after the failure if his first run. But really, I would think TNA would want to snatch up Benjamin and MVP just for their talent value alone. Yo u may not agree with me, but I think they could add a lot to the roster. I know MVP is almost 40 and Benjamin just isn't really that great on the mic, but still I believe WWE sort of dropped the ball with them. Another I've always liked, certainly as a great immovable monster type wrestler, is Big Daddy V. He does a good job not just as a monster, but I think just in general he wrestlers well. Though, I guess I could understand TNA not wanting him. And well, I'm sure there are other African AMerican fellows who's work I admire that could be great additions to the TNA roster, but I can't thin of them right at this moment. I guess in the end, it would very much be beneficial for them in that not only would they have a more variety of talent, but yeah that racial diversity thing can help sometimes too. Again, I'm not trying to insinuate any racism, nor am I myself trying to racist. But you know what they say, whenever someone says "Not to be racist or anything.." they usually are. Oh just watch SHelton and MVP's latest match from last month in New Japan. MVP cut his hair short and gained a little weight, but he and SHtelon still got it from what I can tell.

Pope tweeted something about Turning Point so he might be back then. Don't know why he's going to be away for so long really, guy deserves a lot better than what TNA have given him.

Kenny King was one of their jobbers back in the day. Your right, sorry I forgot about that but now imo he is one of the most talented and charismatic guys in ROH now he would be a nice fit in TNA now.

They should sign Kenny King This so much. I think King is an absolute stud and I'm really suprised that TNA or WWE don't have him on their current rosters. (he was in Tough Enough and has worked a couple of matches for TNA, so they are both aware of the guy.) Anyhoo, I wouldn't mind TNA signing Benjamin and MVP but MVP seems to be happy working in Japan while Benjamin is tied down to an ROH contract at the moment.

I'm guessing that Shelton and MVP don't want to work for TNA. They seem happy with their current gigs.

Working for Christian.
Serious answer: MVP is currently working for New Japan, a long time personal dream of his. He making noise about returning back to WWE once his contract is up. Plus he doesn't want to sign with TNA even if he had the opportunity to. Shelton is also happy where he's at in ROH and taking various indy bookings. He might join if the money is right. Kenny King, for whatever reason, keeps getting passed over by both WWE and TNA. Guy is the total package.
Only black people in TNA are Devon and the Pope. And they barely get any meaningful tv time except against each other. My question is where all the black women at?

Thanks for posting that match. MVP has improved so much since his first match in NJPW. I love how he's incorporated a lot of Benoit stuff into his moveset like the rolling germans and the crossface variation.
One thing though, why is Tanaka's group copying so much from the Impact Players? Everything from their poses to the singapore cane to even their name seems to be inspired by them. It's just odd.

I'm pretty sure MVP has said that he doesn't want to work for TNA. I think the same might apply to Shelton Benjamin.

Have you seen how TNA treats their black talent, let alone any talent..............not a "big name"? No wonder not many want to be caught dead there.

MVP is sort of a combination between Benoit and Chono which works for me. I'd love to see him come back as he offers a lot to work with. Only problem of course is his criminal record which does affect where he can tour.
