Him and Richard Simmons had a superb, five-star match-
That aside, I'm starting to see him as being a skilled in-ring performer capable of entertaining an audience. Before, I would not give much of my attention to Dolph and would want his matches to be short. Now though, after witnessing the evolution of his character and seeing that his charisma has/is manifesting outwards, I quite like seeing Ziggler. I'll go as far as to say I hope he wins the WWE/World Heavyweight championship in the future and is given more air time.
Anyone else take/taking a similar standpoint towards Dolph?

Very reasonable position to take.

Dolph deserves to succeed after all he's been through. He survived being a caddy; he survived the freaking Spirit Squad; he survived being whatever his original gimmick was supposed to be exactly; he survived getting his legs cut out from underneath him time and time again; he survived that horrible Edge feud where he lost over and over to the point he even got pinned twice in one episode of Smackdown; and even after the Rumble he's still as motivated as ever.
I'd push the guy to the moon just to show everybody else on the roster that the WWE does in fact reward improvement and loyalty.

I'm slowly coming around to the guy, just need him away from Vickie to do so.

I've definitely come around on Ziggler.
I still think his name is silly as all hell, but he's charismatic and a pretty good wrestler, and on top of it, he's one HELL of a seller.
He also kind of reminds me of Jeff Jarrett a bit with the blonde hair, the cockiness, and the strutting. Hell sometimes his hair looks Jarrett-esque.

My only problem with Dolph at this point is his mic skills. I haven't come round like most people have.
When he speaks usually all I’m thinking is “you’ve been sitting in the back all day memorizing those lines.†Especially when he does that fast talking thing he does. It’s like Miz’s promos where it’s blatantly obvious he’s reciting a script. It never comes off naturally to me.
For his in-ring work alone though he deserves whatever push he's going to get this year.

Creative needs to find a way to get rid of Vickie while still keeping him heel

Hes become so well rounded. He can talk. He can sell like no one's business. I agree that his partnership with Vickie has run its course. Dolph's ready to do it on his own.

I've been a fan since his series of matches with John Morrison back in 2009 where he couldn't win the IC title. I think he's great.

It's no knock against Vickie, either. She's great at getting heat for guys, but Dolph is ready to break out. She's taken him as far as she can, and at this point they're running in place. They should gradually just have her appear with him less until eventually she stops coming to the ring with him. She should be used to get heat for someone else who can't quite get it yet on their own, like Del Rio. He's got all the tools, but people don't care about him. Pair him with Vickie, and people will HATE him (the way they want them to). 'Berto wouldn't have to take a backseat either. It'd be more like Vickie's pairing with Edge.

But what would become of Ricardo if Vickie was paired with ADR? Would he have two mouthpieces at once? Or would Ricardo go on to do his own thing?

I've always been a fan of him, dating back to his OVW work. (Hipster respone.....but whatever).
For my money this Punk/Jericho feud over who is the "Best in the World" is false advertising. That title belongs to Ziggler.
