I think this can only mean Wrestlemania 30 from Jerry World to set the indoor attendance record.

When was the official announcement for the site of this year's Wrestlemania made? I remember it being announced on the Raw after WM27 but I can't remember if anything was said before then except for rumors.

They need to return to Toronto. That'd be my guess for 31. I think Dallas is the big mammajamma for 30. They will set that record if they hold it there.

They need to return to Toronto. There are other cities in Canada that could host it...Vancouver, Montreal both have 60k + stadiums. Vancouver has a new stadium to host in, and both cities hold the fastest sell-outs in North American history for a RAW.

San Francisco better get one (well, Santa Clara, once the 49ers get their new stadium).

If true, it'll be the first WrestleMania I will ever attend. I need to start saving some cash...

Isn't it kind of...cold in that area of the world this time of year?

Isn't it kind of...cold in that area of the world this time of year? Yes. Well, most of the time. But we manage to play baseball outdoors in April, so we're at least we're used to it. Snow could be an issue, though. It's not that common, but it does happen, and I don't know what WWE would do in that case. Why we didn't build a stadium with a roof, I'm not totally sure. Too much money, I suppose.

I'm still thinking Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis will get it, and I'm okay with that.
If they do have it at Metlife, it should be for Wrestlemania 30.

When was the official announcement for the site of this year's Wrestlemania made? I remember it being announced on the Raw after WM27 but I can't remember if anything was said before then except for rumors. A quick check of WWE's corporate site reveals that they issued a press release on February 9 regarding the location of 'Mania 28. So I'd expect to hear something soon. If MetLife Stadium is indeed the winner, I might have to bite the bullet and buy the VIP travel package. NJ is reasonably close to me--I vacation there every year--and just once I'd like to take home a PPV chair. About WM XXX--hasn't Dallas been ruled out because of the Final Four? Unless they're just trying to keep something a secret ....

Interesting thing about a NYC WM is that it could be seen by the stadium and by the Super Bowl planners for Super Bowl 48 as kind of a model what to or what not to do.
Although I still want WM in Lambeau Field.
