I wish they'd have a RtWM where it's okay to lose matches. I get the idea of "winning to continue" but if realism is what they're going for, that'd just make whoever you're playing as seem like a unbeatable freak. Also, I'm already on the fence about WWE 13 and if it has "Press *button* to continue" I am done. Yeah, I don't get why it doesn't register for them that no one is buying these things for the voice acting and the story modes in the old games are a hell of a lot better than those now. I actually like the Road to WrestleMania stories in the previous years, but them dropping all of that and having a Here Comes the Pain-style story or something would be so much better. As would be bringing back GM Mode, but probably won't happen since they still haven't explained why they even dropped it.

I think that while the mechanics of '12's mode were the worst overall - mainly due to the backstage brawls - I loved the stories for Sheamus and Cass. Less said about HHH, the better.
Storywise, I'd actually point to 2010 as the worst. Most were just retreads of the characters' own debuts, like jumping out of the crowd and winning the title from Santino, or being the stalker of Mickie James. And did anyone like the "Brand Warfare"?

For all the grief we give it, at least 2011 had Christian's RtWM, which makes up for some of the other ones.
I haven't had the priveledge to play WWE '12 on the Wii, but after hearing about just how horrible the story modes are... you'd think that Triple H maintaining his roided-up appearance for a decade now in wrestling games would be enough ego-patting.

WWE 12, by far. Get rid of voiceovers. They don't improve anything, or make the game more enjoyable. They just limit things...
