Which WWE game do you think had the worst RTWM mode?

12 by a large margin.

I finally gave in and got the game yesterday and have just finished the Outsider story. It was painfully bad. I'm sick of Triple H to a degree I haven't been since 2002.

Yeah it doesn't get much worse than 12 honestly. The only mildly interesting story is Jacob Cass

WWE 12's RTWM is just the shits. The ONLY reason I suffered through it was for the trophies. The entire ordeal was just a nightmare to experience.

WWE '12's was horrid. "Hey guys, we know what the fans want. Bury all the popular midcarders with Triple H!"

WWE 12 was god awful. I couldn't even finish it. From the sounds of it, it doesn't get any better.

'12 had some intresting ideas, but complete and utter ABYSMAL execution.

Even though I dislike all the RTWM modes with a passion but WWE'12's RTWM was just a HUGE ego stroking for HHH. I mean wow THQ all that just to please him and the other two stories were just poorly written

I played through all of them except for WWE 12. I still don't understand how some people could play it all the way to the end.

I don't have a 360 or PS3, what was so bad about 12's RTWM?

I actually liked the Cass story, but the other two - especially Outsider - were awful, and even if the stories were decent it didn't matter since the only matches you ever got to finish were those stupid, boring Free Brawls.

WWE '12 by a fairly large margin. I mean, I'm actually ok with Triple H, even the amount of him in that's in the story. What I wasn't ok with was how the mode was played. WAY too many free brawls which, as Lizuka said, are very boring. Out of everything that irked me, the thing that bugged me the most was definitely the "Press 'Y'" moments. I can't think of a worse way to completely take you out the game than being dictated as to when you should end a match.

I don't have a 360 or PS3, what was so bad about 12's RTWM? ...Everything. The Hero story was the lesser of 3 evils, but my "enjoyment" of that was marred by technical issues, like not being able to advance past the Elimination Chamber loading screen due to changing Jacob's moves. Had to reset them to default for THE THIRD time. That really cheesed me off.

Think it froze up once during the Outsider story, but other than just the one time didn't really have any issues there. Still, have heard the Elimination Chamber match is buggy as all hell. Also, while I realize it's fully coincidence, kind of funny to note the Cass thing has a lot of similarities to a Morrison story I put up on the 2011 servers. The WCW resurrection and them taking both titles, nothing too groundbreaking, but funny that both have a lengthy point using cutscenes and assorted match-types to work a team Hell in a Cell in there. Though mine was on-one-on with run-ins, and you actually got to play the damn thing to finish it.

Wait, I thought WWE '12 was regarded as fairly good? This is the first I've heard of the RTWM game being a disaster.

I wish they'd have a RtWM where it's okay to lose matches. I get the idea of "winning to continue" but if realism is what they're going for, that'd just make whoever you're playing as seem like a unbeatable freak. Also, I'm already on the fence about WWE 13 and if it has "Press *button* to continue" I am done.

It was often unfair, but at least the stories had branches.
