I have no idea what biscuits and gravy had to do with being a hillbilly. It's an entirely random combination of food and food condiment. Never before have I ever seen biscuits and gravy on the same table. There was (and perhaps still is) great faults in communication within the WWE cafeteria and the music sector.

Are you serious? Biscuits and gravy are delicious! Generally, it's a reference to sausage gravy, although brown gravy on the right kind of biscuit (I'm looking at you, KFC!) can be equally delicious. {Spoiler} Looks gross, tastes great.

Yeah,I thought Biscuits and gravy were a pretty common food? I have it at Denny's all the time and I don't live in the south.

Yeah, I realize I'm a southerner (and actually proud of the fact) but I thought biscuits and gravy was a pretty well known thing everywhere, just a bigger deal down here.

Outside of the united states breakfast or sausage gravy is practically non existent. I'm a Canadian and only learned about breakfast gravy because I was describing poutine (for those who don't know: french fries, cheese curds and brown gravy) to someone and they asked me "is it normal and breakfast gravy?" and I had to have them explain to me wtf breakfast gravy is.
that said when I finally learned about it the next time i went to the states i seeked it out. i can confirm that it is good with biscuits.

Biscuits and gravy are on every breakfast menu I've ever seen and I live in California. I'm sure it's not just a southern thing.

The word biscuits in the UK and much of Europe refers to sweet or savory cookie-like products. The word biscuits in America refers to a small bread-like product, similar to a scone.

The first time I ever had biscuits and gravy was when we stopped in Kentucky on our way to Florida. Not that you care.
