Why's that? Only thing I can think of is history. History, and having a secondary title is important. Besides, if there's no Cup, what's the point of the tournament every year? They could still have the cup,just make it non transferable. |

Truth be told, I did think it was a pretty lousy title, but now, just like how they have offical tag champs, now they have an official singles champ. |

So, so, so, so, so, so, so, SO hideous.
It honestly looks like Quack's trying not to laugh at it at the start of that promo.
And I really hope they don't drop the Cup but I've had a similar thought about why it's been stuck in Japan, Amigo.
If they do drop it as an actual title, I hope they at least still hold the tournament and award the winner a trophy. So that the winner, usually a CHIKARA roster member, can carry it around for a year. Just not defend it or anything.

That mask...Jesus Christ Jigsaw, your face is meant to be hidden and showing any of it is a crime on par with Icarus removing his shirt but to do it in that monstrosity is just....well, that is a war crime.
Anyway, found it interesting that ROH's Photo of the Day is Eddie Kingston posing with the Grand Championship in front of a Chikara banner.
