Figures the Devils finally score one (on a penalty no less!) and the Penguins answer with two quickies.  OMG you should have heard the Penguin announcers going apeshit over that. Elias was the one who should have been in the box for the high stick, not Sykora. |

Caps game was fun to watch. Red Wings got lit up like a Christmas tree and Vokun has been outstanding so far this year. For a Caps fan, yeah it was fun For a Red Wings fan like me, no. They allowed as many goals tonight as the 5 prior games. I knew they would lose, but not 7-1.  |

They and LA are gonna be in the finals Some here in DC thought he was going to be awful b/c he had a bad preseason but he's shown more than enough the first week or two of the season. Defense and goaltending have been the Caps' Achilles heal the last 2 years. D got fixed last year, but the goaltending was still suspect. And just reading in the papers about this team, they sound and are playing like vets and not just young guys with the rock star attitude. They mean business this year. |

Elias was guilty of the penalty, but Sykora took the fall for it for some reason. Not like it mattered, though. Pittsburgh blew away the Devils 4-1. |
