Bye, Khali. I'll miss your brain chop and ridiculously overemphasized chin.

Bye, Khali. I'll miss your brain chop and ridiculously overemphasized chin. This. The Brain Chop was just such a damned fun move. Though my favorite Khali memory will be when he put Kane in the Vice Grip 4 consecutive times at a house show I went to. Every time Kane would slip out of it, Khali would put it right back on him. It was so awful that it was awesome.

He did what he was intended to, and is a textbook example of WWE "big threat" booking since time immemorial - Big monstrous threat > face turn > comedy sideshow.

For the best. There isn't much more that you can do with him and, physically, wrestling probably has taken a toll on his body. He's a special attraction at this point, one that will lose its luster sooner or later. Good run though.

He was ruined the second they turned him into a family/comedy character.
I'm sure he's a god in India and will be treated as such.
He had a good run, got a world title, faced Cena among others. He had his time.
I'll miss him though....I actually liked the big lug.

I was sick in my mouth when he beat Undertaker in like 5 minutes at PPV. Then when he won the world title I was sick in my mouth again.

It got the brain chop as a move into Smackdown vs Raw. For that we owe him a debt of gratitude.

Pretty clear this was coming sooner or later. His body's been breaking down for a while now, and it really looked like he was in pain just walking to the ring for the last few months.
All in all, he was passable enough as a token freakishly-large giant, while the novelty lasted. Nothing left for him to do in wrestling anyway.

I've been expecting his retirement from the WWE since they brought in Jinder; I honestly didn't think the storyline with that guy would last as long as it did and that Khali would be out within a month of Jinder's arrival.
I'll miss his theme song. I love that song so much.

I enjoyed what he brought to the wwe. Not enough giants/odd ball wrestlers in my opinion.

Was far more succesful and over than he had any right to be. Props to him for making the best out of what he had, though I suspect a lot of his success was down to him being worshipped in India and all the attention that brought in for the WWE.

I simply could not get past how awful he was in the ring. One of the worst WWE has ever had, no doubt. No matter how humongous he was... nothing imposing about a big, immobile guy. He made all of his opponents look like crap.

And with that, the entire Jinder/Khali storyline is rendered useless. I mean, for all the plotholes, and the plodding, it might have been salvaged if there had been a payoff of some sort. But all we got out of it was Jinder getting put on his ass a couple times, before Mark Henry took him out. No new stars made, just time wasted.
