IYO, who needs to win the World Title match at Wrestlemania between Sheamus and Daniel Bryan?
I personally feel that Sheamus needs to win; being it's Wrestlemania with the biggest buyrate you'll have for the year, you have a chance to make Sheamus a big time star here, a Mania win will also being noticed more and will bring more attention in (Being the title is on Smackdown, more viewership is a must)
Don't get me wrong, I like D-Bryan, but I believe that his reign has served it's purpose and I don't believe anything more can really be gained from it. Will a Wrestlemania win really elevate him any higher on the roster? Also with Sheamus' fanbase at an all time high, you just can't risk waiting too long and letting the crowd die down before giving him the title.
What is your opinion?

D-Bry, from an entirely selfish fan angle I just haven't enjoyed Sheamus for the last few months. The last time I remember thinking "yeah, what a bad arse!" was when he was trying to get back in the ring after being thrown through the barricade by Mark Henry.
D-Bry on the other hand has taken his heel role and ran with it so damned well I see there being good money in letting him keep that title. If he keeps his current character and holds the title for upwards of 6 months imagine the reaction for the face who beats him?
Sheamus is very over, but I just don't care for him right now so him having the title does nothing for me.

I say sheamus needs to win it more than Bryan. Bryan is my favorite wrestler so its not like i think he doesn't deserve it. But WWE needs to justify that horrible %rate on Royal Rumble winners being successful at wrestlemania. 55% is not a great number, Someone has a better chance at winning the title through other means than the royal rumble.

Sheamus...not for him as I love DB's current reign but for the Royal Rumble

Call me crazy, but I think Bryan needs this win more than Sheamus. Maybe it's some sort of issue I have, but for some reason, I can't help but think people still don't see Bryan as "the real deal" or "legit". I get that he's a heel and he's not going to win anything clean. I'm not asking for that. But he needs a BIG win against one of WWE's Chosen to really cement it. He needs to do something to really ruin the fans' day. He needs to do something to get people to really, REALLY hate him.
Because if he loses the title at Wrestlemania, I don't see him going anywhere near a world title again...ever.

IMO, Bryan needs this win more. Since entering the WWE, Sheamus has had WWE Championships, US Championships, was crowned King of the Ring, a Royal Rumble win and others. Put those all together and you have a Hall of Fame spot. Bryan pretty much jobbed his way to the top and won a lot afterwards.

I know the fans will still pop for Sheamus on April 2nd if he loses. Not so sure about Bryan.

IMO, Sheamus needs it far more than Bryan at this point, for a number of reasons:
1) The Rumble winner desprately needs to stop choking.
2) Bryan is over like crazy with perhaps his most entertaining incarnation to date, so his title reign has accomplished its goal. As for the possbility of him not getting any more world title shots if he drops it at Mania, I don't buy it- just due to the fact that he's on Smackdown. Its roster is nowhere as star-packed as Raw's, so he's got a far better chance of not getting lost in the shuffle afterwards the way Miz did.
3) At this point, Sheamus is much closer to possibly breaking out as WWE's next big babyface. Him losing at Mania would seriously jeapordize that.

Sheamus. Bryan can be over without holding the title. Sheamus needs to win at WM to remove the taint of his last two runs as World Champion.

Sheamus. It's getting ridiculous the years in a row someone has won the Royal Rumble but failed to win the title.

From a booking standpoint, Sheamus makes the most sense. But as a fan, I'll be rooting for Bryan the entire time.

Sheamus. The Royal Rumble winner hasn't won the belt at Wrestlemania so it'll be a big boost towards Sheamus being the top face on Smackdown by winning it there. Bryan's had a long run, by recent standards, with the belt so it won't hurt him to drop it either.

Sheamus. For one, that percentage of Royal Rumble winners who've won the title at 'Mania is pathetic. Two, it's the perfect opportunity to make a new star. Bryan's title run has served its purpose, and while I've enjoyed it so far, I have no desire to see it extend any further.

I couldnt give two craps as to who wins, Im just ecstatic with the fact that Daniel Bryan is defending the heavyweight championship at his first 'mania. Never would I have thought this possible x

Sheamus, just on the grounds that winning the Rumble means something again.

Sheamus from a booking standpoint, although I'd rather Bryan win seeing as he's better.

Never would I have thought this possible x Well, technically his first Mania was last year, but he (and Sheamus) got bumped from the main card. I suppose that kind of makes him the Anti-Miz. I also don't care who wins, so long as the loser doesn't fall into obscurity when it's over.

Sheamus. I just hope Bryan doesn't fall too far down the card when he loses.

Sheamus, as there should be at least one major title change at Wrestlemania and Punk's not losing to Jericho. Also, Bryan's been built up as the arrogant ass that deserves a beatdown, playing his role to a tee. Such good work deserves the payoff of losing the title at the biggest stage of them all, what heels honestly should be built up to. Sheamus can also get a ton of momentum out of this and Smackdown desperately needs an over face.
