I'm not really sure what her storyline relationship consists of right now with Beth (other than farting), but it makes more sense to put Natalya as the tag team partner of Beth at Wrestlemania over Eve. Natalya and Beth are still taging on house shows and they've had an alliance for quite some time. Eve and Beth were very recent enemies. It would make more sense for Eve to be involved with some kind of angle at Mania with Zack.

Definitely agree.They seem to have some kind of big hatred for Natalya.Farting gimmick,not being involved at Wrestlemania...I don't know what she has done to deserve all this.
At least I hope...just hope that we won't get a Natalya farting segment at Wrestlemania.

Problem is they recently turned her face, which I don't quite understand why or how.
Another problem I have with that is that both Beth and Eve are on a roll, Especially Eve. I am afraid that if they do the job at Mania, unless Zack Ryder interferes, it will destroy their momentum.

personally whenever they have a celeb who isn't a big time athlete or something I think they should do handicapped matches, even if they favor the faces number wise

She's not really a face. They still have her tagging with Beth/associated with Beth Phoenix. I'd say she's probably a tweener or just forgotten.

She still tags with Beth as a heel on houseshows...I know I know if it's not on TV it doesn't count...but I think it points to the overall lack of direction for the divas. I don't think the writer's care about her character's alignment one way or another. I think she's still a heel, it's just that Eve is being treated as a heel so bad that the other heels don't want anything to do with her, a la the Bellas. It seems that the heel hierarchy is Eve, The Bellas, Natalya, Beth... She hasn't made a decisive face turn as of yet. Otherwise I think they'd stop booking her as a heel on the house shows and as a heel against the other divas that aren't Eve on SD!. |

If you wanna get technical, then they should replace Maria Menudo with Nattie, as she is could be on Kelly's team in the face role. If you want to get rid of the weakest link, of course. Then you have a much more experienced competitor to help even out the face team. But then, this Wrestlemania and they "need" a celeb to wrestle. I'm okay either way I guess. Beth and Eve are both good wrestlers, Kelly can go if she has someone to help her out, and Maria looks cute in her ring gear(I know I'm really focusing on the important stuff here, I can't help it, I'm just a Maria fan  ), so the match shouldn't be too crappy anyway. |

Very few people can have a successful turn as heel AND face in the ring--especially when you look at the history of the divas. She does the same things she used to do as a face--it's just that no one noticed or cared. Now she does a kip up or a roll over and gloats, so people pay attention. It's easier for heels to communicate emotions and get heat by acting like assholes ergo = you actually pay attention to Eve who was usually very bland, and thus now think she must be a better wrestler. Really, she's always been pretty good it's just that most people didn't notice because she was so boring and had no ring presence/personality. |

It could also be because there was a time divas have to water down their skills to make Kelly Kelly look good, hence the awful booty pop. However, she did get more interesting. |

I know this isn't a popular opinion among the IWC crowd, but no, Eve was the right choice. Yes, Natalya's the "better worker", but she's just been floundering around Smackdown lately with no direction apart from a really silly gimmick. Eve on the other hand has been getting a ton of heat lately with this Zack Ryder angle and she has a history with Kelly. While I realize there will never be a ton of interest in the match, whatever fan interest there is is more likely to be generated by Eve being in it then Nattie.
