Not that Meltzer hasn't been wrong before, but this part of the WWE article is telling:
"Levesque also addressed plans to relocate training or FCW TV tapings out of its home of Tampa, Fla.
“There are plans in the works, but nothing definitive I can discuss right now,†he said. “Shortly after WrestleMania, there will be a major announcement about our developmental system.â€
I think they got caught and are backtracking. He basically admits that they're relocating. Maybe not to Stanford, but somewhere. Don't you think it's odd that the WWE, who usually ignores dirtsheet stuff, would go out of it's way to refute this? All they'd have to do is tell their contracted guys what was up, not the world.

Not sure but couldn't something this major have an effect on their stock price and cause them trouble with that when it does/doesn't happen? A company that just came off it's worst year fiscally in nearly a decade shutting down something they sunk millions of dollars in only to do it again somewhere else seems like the kind thing stockholder and potential buyers wouldn't like. As for the move, the move seems more to be on the TV tapings moving to that college arena they liked while keeping the actual school in the Tampa building.

So according to WWE, FCW isn't ending, but it might relocate and rebrand, which would mean FCW is ending.

I hear there's this place in Orlando where they can hold shows. Hell, there's only a few days a month where they wouldn't be able to use this particular building.

So according to WWE, FCW isn't ending, but it might relocate and rebrand, which would mean FCW is ending. The company World Wrestling Federation didn't end when it became World Wrestling Entertainment The relocation is even less of a deal on the "ending".

Rebranding is never once mentioned and the only story from someone that (IMO) hasn't blown this story is about them moving the TV tapings to Orlando and last I checked that was still in Florida.

Then why did a WWE programmer tell the Brighthouse Network that they were moving all the talent to Stamford?

We don't know that he was told that and the only proof of it is from a completely discredited reported. I think it's more likely that the WWE programmer spilled the beans on this to Brighthouse Network, Meltzer reported it, then WWE sent out the company line to all employees. Might have something to do with it potentially being a stock-holder issue. The sneering tone of WWE's rebuttal makes me thik there's a high probability of this being true at one point.

I will say it wouldn't shock me if them moving people to CT was true. I mean them setting up a second WWE D-League in CT where the more advanced guys that are ready for the main roster go so FCW can focus on the guys that need the most training wouldn't be shocking.
Just FCW being completely shut down I don't buy.

Yeah I don't see FCW ending, but obviously if they move to another state they'll be called something else. I still think info got out that the WWE didn't want known and backtracked. Shoot A-Train was saying he wasn't going back to WWE and Lord Tai-chi is born monday.
Wrestlers like to work us, so not out of the realm of possibility that promotions would as well.

If they move it from Florida, they'll probably just rebrand it as Future Champions of Wrestling or some nonsense.

They could still be holding the school in thier current Location, but tape arround the state, giving the green guys a taste of going on the road/ expanding base so they can sell more TV space arround the state.

If they shut down FCW, I'll never forgive them. It's easily the best wrestling show around for me and there are so many talented guys down there at the moment.
