I know the Invasion Angle was considered by many the biggest botch in all of professional wrestling. For years, many fans have dreamed of WWF and WCW superstars going face to face and in the beginning it looked promising until things started to get out of hand, and more importantly, lack of big names. The Invasion was botched so bad, WWF/E never talked about it since(except maybe Milk-o-Mania). However, lets name the bright spots of the storyline and see if we can get to 100, or even past that.
1.The Matches - 2001, while being a questionable year for fans produced amazing matches, pre through post Invasion. It was "Stone Cold" Steve Austin at his absolute best. When 2002 rolled around, the future Hall of Famer was all burned out.
2.The Video Packages - Got to hand it to the WWF/E production crew, they can make even the crappiest storyline seem worth something with their amazing video packages. I especially enjoyed the one where Bradshaw and Classy Freddie Blassie were giving that epic speech to rally up the WWF troops.
Your turn.

3. Milk-O-Mania! Also, it gave us a pretty good face run for Kurt Angle. (Even if they botched it at the end, he had a good run going.)

4. RVD. He's basically the only reason I kept watching during the Invasion.

6. DDP - Not in the Invasion angle itself, but DDP never gets enough appreciation for his awesomeness. He made the best out of a bad angle
7. RVD's dive off the Raw stage to Big Show
(Agreed on number 2 as well. The Survivor Series 5 vs 5 video package was excellent)

8. Say what you will, but I thought Rock's introduction into the Invasion was pretty good. I had goosebumps when he finally chose to side with the WWF.

9. It wasn't as one-sided as everyone makes it out to be. The Alliance dominated the first month or two, including winning the main event at Invasion (that card ended up 6-5 Alliance if you count Chavo beating Scotty 2 Hotty on Heat) with Austin defecting and taking the WWF title with him. At one point, the Alliance held 7 of 10 titles from both feds. And Jakked and Heat usually ended up either splitting or a slight edge for one.

The fact that the next year when it had finished WWE done everything they should have by splitting the roster in two (RAW should have been WWE and Smackdown could have turned into WCW Nitro) and hired ALL of the top WCW guys (Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Eric Bischoff, Scott Steiner, Goldberg in 2003)

21. the moment ECW injected themselves into the feud. Sure they became the Alliance, but the shock of "WWF" guys suddenly attacking each other and "Uncle Paul" basking in the moment Still gives me chills.
