(NOTE: I, obviously, am not hoping for any of these people to die or wish bad on any of them. Just an interesting thought I had mulling.)
If someone like CM Punk, John Cena, Randy Orton or Big Show died this upcoming Saturday, there would be no doubt a tribute show to them on Monday Night Raw. A huge deal would be made from the WWE and we would definitely be reminded of it very often.
Let's say, instead of one of those stars dying it was someone who was on NXT or the like passed. What would be the WWE's reaction? Would they hold a tribute show for Percy Watson? What would happen if the WWE found about Trent Baretta dying on the day a Raw was about to be taped?
Curious to see what the people of FAN think. I'm sure we'll get some good insight...

There'd probably be like a tribute video to them or something, maybe a feature on the website going into some of their best moments, but I doubt they'd go too far out of their way for it.

Some people in the past were lucky to even get a graphic at the start of the show, remember people like Test and Umaga?
But yeah, a graphic and a 3-minute tribute video like they did for Macho Man perhaps

I've wondered this too.
I think they'd have a very short video package at the start of the show, and that'd be it on RAW or Smackdown. Probably a few video memories from friends on WWE.com.

No and both were after they left WWE because of drug issues and because of drug issues.

I don't know about most of the jobbers, but I'm sure that McGillicutty would get one. Being so young and being the son of a Hall-of-Famer who died before he was fifty (and only a year after he left the company), that's one death that would surely hurt for the WWE family.
This is a really somber topic, I have to say.

I think it depends on what impact those guys have with the people back stage. For example if Percy Watson was awesome with everyone back stage and was beloved by everyone then maybe they will give him at good tribute maybe even an hour or so. But if he was kind of a loner or didn't have many friends backstage then a good 3 minute video + his friends talking. Their rank as a superstar is one thing their presence backstage is another.

I don't know if even the top names would get a tribute show now, after the Benoit fiasco. It's a touchy subject, you can't just not let the viewers know what happened, but they definitely can't have another Benoit-like situation happen.
I would think maybe devote half an hour to the deceased, but carry on business as usual.

Exactly, Owen Hart was far from the main event when he passed. And he got a tribute show, im guessing because he was apart of the hart family and he was truly loved backstage

Also because he died during the PPV and it was heavily publicized.

Probably something similar to how they handled Pillman's death no?

Probably something similar to how they handled Pillman's death no? Wow didn't even think of that. Yeah, Vince mentioned it on the Free For All I think, but I don't think they even talked about it on the actual Badd Blood ppv IIRC. Although if they did that today they would probably be destroyed by the outside media. Pillman was one of the first wrestlers to die young. There have been so many in the past ten years that it's a much more mainstream subject now. The world would be watching for WWE's reaction.

That whole situation was just marred with bad circumstances from the previous week's "death" of Vince and the information being released mid-show.

I think there would be a 10 Bell Salute at the beginning of Raw, and a show of solidarity with armbands and whatnot, but I think it would be business as usual for the most part.

The Monday Night Wars mostly ruled, but some of the sh!t they would do for ratings at times was pretty embarrassing.
