(6) Ryback beat local wrestler Jacob Kaye in another squash match. Reminds me. I got to put my TV on a Pedestal so my friends and I can watch this match the correct way. Standing around talking about how awesome Ryback is. |

So apparently this is a pic from tonight's show. Oh dear.  It must be weird giving a promo when all your looking at is hundreds of empty seats. It's been like that for a while with Smackdown. I remember there was one in Dayton(I think) last year that looked like a ghost-town. It was like that for a few months last year, but SmackDown TV has had good crowds for the most part since late 2011. Just a bad week, but it's not surprising since earlier today there was a Twitter account holding a contest where RT's of their message might win you tickets and only 30 people partook. |

I enjoyed both SD tapings I went to in the past two years more than the RAW I went to, but obviously SD doesn't have the star power that RAW does. I was just saying it's not like every single week SD is half-empty. They packed the arena almost completely full a couple months ago in Tulsa and they've had mostly decent-good turnouts in other places. Obviously Grand Rapids doesn't care about SD all that much, though. |
