Anyone know if Josh Matthews is still on commentary, or if he's out selling Brock's beatdown? The only person who's reporting on the show hasn't mentioned anything about commentary.

Well, this episode sounds completely unwatchable. Once I see Swiss Death, I'm out.

Hold up, Sheamus winning means he has momentum going into the PPV, so does that mean he's losing?
EDIT: Well, Bryan standing tall at the end means Sheamus is winning right?

I enjoyed both SD tapings I went to in the past two years more than the RAW I went to, but obviously SD doesn't have the star power that RAW does. I was just saying it's not like every single week SD is half-empty. They packed the arena almost completely full a couple months ago in Tulsa and they've had mostly decent-good turnouts in other places. Obviously Grand Rapids doesn't care about SD all that much, though. I've been to three SmackDown tapings since 2008, and all of them have left me feeling that I'd wasted my money. It's fun, but not $75 seat fun. The SD I went to in January 2011 was free but a fun show, the RAW I went to in August 2011 was decent and free but the best show of the three I've gone to in the past few years was a SD/NXT taping a couple months ago I paid over $90 for (two tickets). Maybe I would be more upset if I paid for the best seat, but both SD shows were fun and I thought the wrestling, atmosphere and overall experience at the show a couple months ago was well worth the money I paid and the person I brought had a good time, too.

Apparently, Cesaro vs Kidd was a solid match.

That's the end of the Smackdown taping. No appearance by Christian, who was advertised.
After the Smackdown taping, they set up a bonus dark match for the live crowd.
Dark Match: Randy Orton & IC champion Big Show beat Daniel Bryan & Cody Rhodes.

Wish I could find the gif of Hero and Claudio high-fiving, I would post it many times for the news of Antonio Cesaro's in-ring debut

* Alberto Del Rio interrupts Bryan and says that while Bryan has a title shot this Sunday, he has the next one. Del Rio says that it does not matter who walks out of Extreme Rules as champion, because it is his destiny to become the new World Heavyweight Champion.
* WWE Intercontinental Champion Big Show comes out and enters the ring, clearing out everyone else but Del Rio’s personal ring announcer, Ricardo Rodriguez. Show delivers a chokeslam to Ricardo. Apparently, Show faces Del Rio in a rematch from last week next.

* Darren Young and Titus O’Neil b. Ezekiel Jackson and Yoshi Tatsu with their finisher.
* Michael Cole got in the ring and introduced Randy Orton for their exclusive interview. Cole asks Orton about his Falls Count Anywhere match with Kane at Extreme Rules on Sunday and says he will destroy the devil’s favorite demon.
* Jinder Mahal interrupts the exclusive Cole/Orton interview talking about how much he has been disrespected since coming to the WWE last year. Mahal goes on to say something else, but before he has the chance to Orton delivers and RKO.
* Antonio Cesaro b. Tyson Kidd with a variation of a piledriver.
* The Great Khali b. Cody Rhodes with a chop after Rhodes got distracted by the entrance music of WWE Intercontinental Champion Big Show.
* Ryback b. a local worker with a fisherman’s suplex.
* A video package recapped what happened last week when AJ viciously attacked Natalya during their match after what Daniel Bryan told AJ.
* World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus b. Mark Henry in a non-title match with the Brogue Kick. Daniel Bryan was at ringside. After the match, Bryan attacked Sheamus from behind. Bryan stood over Sheamus with the World Heavyweight Title in hand screaming “YES” repeatedly to close the show.

(5) Great Khali beat Cody Rhodes. WHY?! CODY RHODES HAS NOT WON A MATCH SINCE WRESTLEMANIA! I hope you don't mind, but I'm snagging this pic.
