Ya know, going by that opening, the Cena match outcome wasn't really relevant at all was it? I mean so far anyway, the angle we've got now with the contract and Brock brutalizing HHH woulda played out exactly the same either way. Seems like it. I think, from all that has been said since yesterday this ticked me off. I don't mind Cena getting the victory, the match was great and he ate an ass-kicking from someone who can bring them. He needs a break, this gives him an out, cool. HOWEVER, Lesnar basically assaults the closest thing WWE has to an "owner", he won't get fired..he will get put in a match, I got that, it's wrestling. But why go to the trouble of doing the "contract demands"? Why start the night by caving in to a performer whos demands centered around him winning? As said earlier, just seems like they just hit "reset" on the angle, and subbed Hunter in there. |
