I don't understand Edge winning the IC Championship at a house show from Jarrett only to lose it the next night, back to Jarrett. Wasn't it just to make the fans happy since the original Jarrett match opponent couldn't make it (I wanna say Ken Shamrock was the originally scheduled opponent but not sure on that)?

Kelly was booed at Night of Champions, the show in Beth's hometown, but that's it. It did not become a regular occurance.
I don't think WWE should have done the Haftime Heat empty arena title change. Rock should have held the title from Royal Rumble to WrestleMania XV without the empty arena and ladder match title swtiches.

Anytime Cryme Tyme challenged for the belts. There was no excuse for the most over tag team in a non-existant division NOT to have them.

Triple H should have won the WWF title at Summerslam 1999. They built him up all summer for it. Austin's knees were screwed up and he needed time off. It all made so much sense. Then they had Mankind get involved (which made no sense), win the title in 3 way, then drop it to HHH the next night. So HHH's first title win was on a random episode of Raw rather than the second biggest show of the year and he beat a hobbling Mankind (who in August 99 was in awful shape) instead of Austin. I don't even buy the idea that Jesse Ventura's involvement as referee meant that a babyface had to triumph because the show went off the air with HHH destroying Austin after the match anyway. Hardly a feel-good ending. They could have easily had HHH pin Mankind to win the match then Austin stuns him afterwards if they wanted to protect Austin and have the babyface stand tall. Booker T should have won the World title at Wrestlemania 19. And if it's true that Booker was contemplating retirement at the time then they shouldn't have put him in such a high profile match/storyline where the booking said he pretty much had to win. More recently, I think Chris Jericho should have won the WWE title at Elimination Chamber. After failing to win the Rumble I felt his comeback needed some kind of big win. When he failed to do that then lost to Punk again at WM I lost all interest in the feud. Having another match at Extreme Rules after that was pointless. No one believed Jericho had a shot of winning. I'm surprised this hasn't been said yet, but Jericho's "win" over Triple H in 2000 and it being reversed. It shouldn't have been reversed. I completely disagree with this one. Jericho wasn't ready to be a consistent main eventer in April 2000. What they did was perfect. Jericho got his first real taste of a main event angle and HHH got huge heel heat from it. Plus, less than 2 weeks later, HHH and Rock had their famous match at Backlash (the biggest PPV buyrate ever for a B show). HHH needed to drop the title to Rock there after all the build. Jericho winning the title would have ruined that. His IC title feud with Benoit at the time was perfect for him.

2001: Kurt Angle wins the title at Unforgiven, only to lose it 3 weeks later to Austin. Stupid booking, as Angle was white hot and coming off a very emotional title win

orton should of won the title from triple h at wrestlemania 25. orton could win the title via DQ and for triple h he just wanted revenge SOO i think the perfect ending would of been triple h goes crazy attacking orton with a chair or sledgehammer and orton wins the title and hhh get's his revenge, plus you can just tell the crowd wanted orton to win. instead the crowd is dead with the boring , nothing and stupid ending that we got.
batista never should of won the title from orton in the street cage match a few months later, more so since batista was injured.
bad bad booking for orton in 2009.

Hulk Hogan defeating The Undertaker: Tuesday In Texas. The Undertaker should have been given a longer reign as champion. Granting Hogan a title shot that quickly was one of the few criticisms I have of former President Jack Tunney's term.

Miz should've won the US Title at Extreme Rules. Sure the fact that he's in The Marine 3 probably means he won't be in any major angles anytime soon, but it's not like Santino's doing anything with the belt anyway. If Miz won the title, he could drop the belt on his way out to do the movie. Someone like Zack Ryder or Alex Riley could've taken the belt off the Miz in order to regain their lost momentum.

I'm surprised this hasn't been said yet, but Jericho's "win" over Triple H in 2000 and it being reversed. It shouldn't have been reversed. I agree totally. The crowd popped huge when Jericho won. Them reversing the decision right after pretty much killed my interest in watching wwe.

The whole Women's title around 99-00. Harvey shouldn't have been given the belt and then just lose it a couple days later. It didn't put over Kat, Jacqueline, or Harvey, so why bother. Then you had Kat and Debra who had nothing to offer, Jacqueline not holding the belt for as long as she should have because she actually had some talent. Then there's the fact that people like Tori and Luna never one the belt despite the fact that they could give it some credibility.

I really think they shouldn't have done 24/7 Hardcore Title changes at house shows. Because of this, every wrestling history website has a different order and number of reigns.

I think Cody Rhodes shouldn't have lost the IC Title to The Big Show, especially since he won it back a month later. But they backed themselves into a corner after Cody brought up Show's WrestleMania failures. Show would have looked foolish if he lost again.
It's too bad. I thought it would have been great if Cody broke The Honky Tonk Man's record.
