Mayweather would beat Pacquiao IMO Cotto surprised me tonight. Thought he fought well and even though the scorecard didn't look close, it was a pretty entertaining match all the way to the end. Better than Floyd's last couple of fights. Well, then he should prove it. The ball is really in his court. Pacquiao isn't exactly trying to make the fight happen either. Mayweather agreed to the drug testing and Pacquiao said: "I'll fight whoever my promoter wants me to fight next," so now he's fighting Bradley. Pacquiao most likely should have lost to Juan Manuel Marquez in his last fight, Mayweather would pick him apart IMO.

Here's a thought...Mayweather would beat Pacquiao, and I think Freddie Roach knows it. Why would Roach risk his ('best trainer in the world') and his fighter's rep and legacy? Cynical I know but there may be something in it.

Neither guy wants to fight each other. Floyd doesn't want to give up the bigger purse and Manny doesn't want to do the drug test. Any other reason given by either camp is complete bulls***.

That's the thing............Pacman was willing to make a concession on the drug test, but Mayweather changed the time he wanted the drug test.

If Mayweather fought Pacquiao there would be two hits:
1- Pacquiao would hit Mayweather 2- Mayweather would hit the ground
Guaranteed

Yeah perhaps. I do think the fight will happen sometime next year though. I really have no idea who will win though. Pacquiao is the way harder puncher, and has just as good of stamina as Mayweather does. Mayweather has quicker speed, and waits more carefully to connect with his punches, while Pacquiao has his brawling style, & with the type of power he has he could definitely KO Mayweather. Basically I think if it goes to a decision Mayweather would most likely get the win, but if it doesn't Mayweather would get his ass knocked out. No way would Mayweather KO Pacquiao.

Can't the boxing commission step in and make the fight happen? There should be a rule about ducking and dodging. If they don't want to fight, then they are suspended indefinitely without pay.

He lost to Canelo too, who is probably most likely next in line. Your thinking of Miguel Cottos' brother whos' name is Jose Miguel Cotto. Miguel Cotto who fought Mayweather tonight only lost to Margarito, Pacquiao, & Mayweather. Got it. Thanks for clearing that up. They are pretty similar in looks.

I think Canel/Cotto could be a good under card match up, also Canel really impressed me last night I say give him a year or two and he should be a good challenge for Pac man or Pretty Boy
