I don't think CHIKARA needs it's own attempt at that horrible cheese grater segment Punk & Rave did at ROH, Spank.  And those hype videos have all been amazing. I've been pretty pumped for the iPPV but those are helping all the more. I also really like the subtle elements injected into the videos about possible progression yet to come. Like Delirious appearing in Ophidian's and Mantis', and the most recent one teasing this becoming an obsession for Icarus to see Akuma fail. Methinks possibly Iron helps Akuma win only for Icarus to snap & go full out evil mastermind on them, trying to send FIST after them for the rest of the season to destroy them. Not seeing how his own obsession is leading to the downfall of FIST. Or Iron & Akuma pound on Icarus, Akuma resumes the dream match route he was doing pre-leave from CHIKARA and Iron bounces off again. And yeah, Green Ant continues to be the biggest douche on the good guys' side this side of Quack. |

Here's the thing: I've put WAY too much thought into that tattoo. Either he genuinely thinks that.....thing, looks good, in which case, he's an idiot. OR, he got it, realized people hated it, and keeps adding more and more awful stuff to it because he realizes it gets heat, in which case, Icarus is the greatest genius in the history of pro wrestling.
