1. Bo Rotunda beat Derrick Bateman. Rotunda won by pinfall. Afterward, Bateman was escorted to the back by a doctor.

WWE NXT Taping

William Regal and Matt Striker started off the show by talking about Tyler Reks and Curt Hawkins being fired. They said something about them being here tonight, and wanting to talk to security. Reks and Hawkins came out and said that they have been hired as security for NXT. Regal said something about how they should be worried about being fired.

1. Maxine defeated Tamina. Maxine won via submission.

JTG (w/Alicia Fox) beat Yoshi Tatsu. JTG won with the Shoutout in a short match. Alicia Fox walked with JTG to the ring. He had a new look, kinda like a mix between Dolph and Cody Rhodes. Seriously.

3. Percy Watson and Tyson Kidd defeated Michael McGillicutty and Johnny Curtis. A very good match, and a great showing by Kidd. Watson and Kidd were attacked by Reks and Hawkins.

JTG has a new look that is a mix of Dolph and Cody? What the hell does that mean?

I'd say staying on (and even having a storyline a few times) 3 years after Cryme Tyme broke up is a damn good break for the guy most though would be fired within months of the break up.

Disagree, I always heard that Shad wasn't that well liked backstage. In fact, he was supposed to be the one that took the pin to switch the SD Bragging Rights teams in 2009 but he was "sick." It's unknown how sick he was or if he was at all, but I know that they didn't like that.

I remember around when that picture came out that there was a report saying his look was being changed to that because higher-ups "hated" his look.

It's pretty funny especially in hindsight of Heyman's promo last night about how much WWE tries to control it's image. It's like they don't want anyone to stand out because they'd rather have all of their wrestlers conform to a certain standard of look (short trunks, short close cropped hair/crewcuts, brown hair). Everyone must have a vaguely uniform look at the expense of unique looks and it'll only take a massive backlash for the look to revert back or change. Remember the New and Improved Dolph Ziggler?
