As for match graphics I enjoy, WM 26 was pretty great in that regard:  Love the character symbols behind each man. Also...  Badass. For the first one: Now Entering The World Wrestling Entertainment Wrestlemania 26 Arena. John Hennigan. WWE Gimmick: John Morrison. Title Belt Status: None. His tag team partner. Ron Killings. WWE Gimmick: R-Truth. Title Belt Status: None. Their opponents. Mike Mizanin. WWE Gimmick: The Miz. Paul Wight. WWE Gimmick: The Big Show. Title Belt Status: Current Tag Team Champions And The Second One: Now Entering the World Wrestling Entertainment Wrestlemania 26 Arena. Michael Hickenbottom. The graphics for Armageddon 2004 were so terrible:  weird storm/lightning design thing going on in the background, bad text, greyscale on the wrestlers, and that awful A in the middle John Cena vs. Jesus is one of those things where you REALLY gotta have context.  Also, it's always amazing to me how messed up Kane's mask looks in match graphics. |

I've gone back and revisited some old cards, and I can't believe they replaced the brilliant moving images that they had from 2001 - 2004, with these hideous still image-type things that they kept until about 2008 (I think):  Did they not have an actual picture of Carlito somewhere? Or was it Carlito's ghost that wrestled in this match? Also, as much as most people who watch the shows know who the competitors are, would it be so much trouble to put their names on the screen?
