Could I just ask if Women's wrestling doesn't draw how shimmer has stayed in business for like six or seven years? Just curious. Every 5-7 months, they go to their building in Illinois and tape 4 shows over a Saturday and a Sunday. That's the extent of their live events/touring. I would imagine that format is a big help in keeping down costs and overexposure.

Go re-read the ratings breakdown very closely. Not only was it the lowest rating of the show, it was one of the lowest they've seen in a long time. He's far from untouchable. If they did a stupid video about Stone Cold pounding down beers, it wouldn't get the lowest rating in the show back in the day. You need to re-read the ratings breakdown. Cena's main event overrun with Big Johnny drew a rating of 3.43, the highest quarter hour of the night. His can't be the lowest rating of the night when his quarter hour was almost a half point higher than the entire rating. Try again. I think he was referring to the segment with Cena's Make-A-Wish video, which was the lowest rated segment of Raw.

That was a recycled promo that everyone already saw. The fact that Cena got the highest rating of the night with his live appearance later renders his overall point invalid.

Well, he was in the final segment of the show, which is almost always the highest rated unless Lord Tensai or Daniel Bryan are involved.

A Cena/Laurinaitis segment actually did pretty well at the end of the show. Laurinaitis sure as hell didn't bring in the ratings, at least not on his own.
