We stopped giving Christmas gifts to us adults about 15 years ago. Everyone can buy whatever they want anyway.
We do give to the kids, but the last two years I've focused on getting them a nice birthday gift instead, and giving to charities at Christmas. They get enough stuff as it is.

It may be schmaltzy, but I think I may have gotten one of the best gifts for this year: A dear friend wishing me a Merry Christmas on Twitter.

Did Christmas with the mom's family a few weeks ago, actually; it was the most convenient time for us to all get together.

I got jeans and socks - both desperately needed - and my wife got some "lotion socks" from Bed Bath & Beyond; basically, they have aloe in them or something, and when you lotion your feet (which she does almost every night) you put them on and it's extra lotiony or something.

So far on actual Christmas day, I made coffee, ran the dishwasher, and came upstairs to find my wife waking up, playing with her breasts. "Good morning, Love," I said. "Need a hand?" She replied, "My boobs feel awesome right now. You wanna play with 'em for a while?"

I said, "Well, it is Christmas, so ... Merry Christmas to me!"


So yeah, so far my Christmas has comprised of housework and getting to third base. Not bad, but I'm looking forward to more good times.

got a 22 inch Vizio monitor (as my previous television was pretty ghetto and losing it's luster at an alarming rate for only being a few years old, like, it was bad, picture quality was like noisy and buzzy and blah), I was pretty thankful for it, as well as a blu-ray player, which I was also very pleased with. And my dad got some HDMI cables for both. We both basked in it's glow and watched the crazy picture quality after we set it up.

Few shirts, some gift cards, pants.

Pretty cool stuff I guess. Still have more out there, just gotta go out of state to get it. xD
