Y'know, reading through what people got... Isn't the economy supposed to be in the crapper? Some got the crapper... like me. Then again, if it weren't for my brother going through a divorce with his flighty wife and my aunt/uncle's bills being paid by my grandfather, I probably would have had a slightly better Christmas. |

I got 5 pair of socks that I picked out myself "from the cat"; which is the traditional gift I get almost every year from my Mom since about 1987. (The cat was put to sleep in 1996, but the tradition stays.) My wife bought my ultimate Christmas gift in October: two tickets for us to see Amy Grant & Michael W. Smith in a late-November concert.  |
