Jeff Green, apparently dealing with some kind of heart issue after struggling through a stress test in his physical, will have his condition clarified by the Celtics on Friday.
A Rotoworld source indicates this is a very serious and possibly grave issue, while ESPN's Chris Forsberg appears to share those concerns. The signing of Sasha Pavlovic doesn't do anything to make us feel better about the situation, nor does the silence coming out of Boston regarding Green's status. Here's to hoping the news isn't all bad on Friday.

The last thing we'd ever want is another Reggie Lewis situation on our hands. Hopefully they run the gamut of tests on Jeff Green, and if anything even remotely concerning turns up, shut him down and get it figured out.

Better safe than sorry. Hope whatever's wrong with Jeff Green can be identified and treated ASAP.

It's a good thing they caught it. A similar thing happened in Detroit with running back Jerome Harrison, where they noticed a brain tumor during his physical. I wish him all the best.

Head Coach Mike Brown has told Metta World Peace that he will be a leader off the bench this season for the Lakers.

Royce Young: "There's a little buzz the Thunder might put in an amnesty bid on Travis Outlaw. Would have to waive Ivey first, but it some makes sense." Per Twitter

I wouldn't mind seeing Travis Outlaw coming off the bench here.
Looks like the front office finally realized, "Holy crap, we have a lot of Guards, but not that many Forwards", because that's been the bulk of our offseason moves, putting in depth at Small Forward.

ESPN reporters Stephen A. Smith and Ric Bucher have both expressed that they wouldn't be surprised if Kobe Bryant demanded a trade from the Lakers.

It will really be 2005 all over again if his desired destination is Chicago. I will never forget how many "OMG Kobe wants to be a Bull!!11" posts were going on at Bulls message boards only to be let down later on.

I should preface this post by saying there's no way Kobe Bryant is actually traded. He's pulled this stunt twice before, and both times he remained in purple and gold. That being said, here are three possible trades involving Kobe Bryant that I could see going down:
Los Angeles trades Kobe Bryant and a 2012 first-round pick to New York for Carmelo Anthony, Landry Fields, Toney Douglas and a 2013 first-round pick.
Los Angeles trades Kobe Bryant and Andrew Bynum to Chicago for Joakim Noah, Luol Deng, Omer Asik, Taj Gibson and Ronnie Brewer.
*BLOCKBUSTER ALERT*
Los Angeles trades Kobe Bryant, Andrew Bynum and Metta World Peace to Orlando for Dwight Howard, Hedo Turkoglu, J.J. Redick, Daniel Orton, Ryan Anderson and first-round picks in 2012 and 2014.

Kobe Bryant to the Miami Heat. It'd lead to the first-ever on-court fistfight between teammates over who gets to take the final shot in a close game. It has my vote.
