Wife wakes me up at 5am, telling me I have to get on the phone with the bank.
Turns out, some asshole managed to jack my bank card number, get my pin number somehow, & stole $407.50 from us total.
They bought something at a 7-11, filled up with gas at a Shell, & made 2 cash withdrawals with fees...all in Colorado!
So now I have to sit & wait for the money to be put back in with an investigation going on. 3 transactions are pending, so they could drop off...but 1 transaction did clear yesterday, as I just now, sadly, realized after investigating on my own.
And with this, my bank account is in the negative, my Visa/debit card is turned off, & the only good thing is I get paid tomorrow.
Whoever the hell did this had better be poorer then me for Christmas, cause I been hurting all month long!
Bastards!

I HATE people that do this. I would rather starve to death than f*** someone else over. I really would. If you can't make it, you can't-no sense in messing someone else over.

Really depressing to hear how much this goes on. I'm dreading that it happens to me some day.

Happened to me once. Nothing major was purchased, but someone had gotten my card number or something and was spending 10 here, 20 there. My bank didn't believe it wasn't me so I had to switch banks.

That sucks. Happened to me last year with BofA... I eventually got everything overturned, but it took a few weeks before I actually had access to my money again.
