So, I'm watching Blade Runner:The Final Cut tonight as part of my "a film a day" plan for Hanukkah/X-mas Break. I've seen it before, but only in either 480p or 720p. My step-dad just got a new 1080p TV, so it's an even better experience this time around.
Let's discuss the film, either the Final Cut, other cuts, cuts in comparison to each other, possible sequels, tie-ins, etc.

wow, just noticed the "Cross Now/Don't Walk" computer voice in BR sounds exactly like the ones back home. Life imitating art.

One of my all time favourite movies. Like the best films it operates on many different levels. On one level it's a stylishly enjoyable slice of Sci-Fi. But on another it's an examination of life and death and what it means to be human.

Although I don't dislike any of Lucas' fiddling with the Star Wars films, Blade Runner: Final Cut is exactly how updates should be made to classic films.
