Any reason why your parents gave you an unusual name ? Where I grew up most people seem to have really common names. What ethnicity is your last name ?

Any reason why your parents gave you an unusual name ? Where I grew up most people seem to have really common names. What ethnicity is your last name ? They wanted to give me a Native American first name(because at the time we thought we had Native American blood in us, due to the appearance of one of my great ancestors from around the turn of the century, only for us to learn this year via research that he was actually Chinese, or more technically correct, Mongolian). And Koda = My Friend in some Native American language. As for the last name, I think it is Hungarian? I dunno.
