For those that are aware, the Indie Humble Bundle is a pay what you want thing with the proceeds being split between for charity (towards the Red Cross and Childs Play), the developers and to Humble Bundle Inc to support the bandwidth requirements.
So far, they have raised 1.6 million dollars US with 1 million of that being from the first 24 hours, surpassing the previous bundle which made that much in a week.
It contains;
Super Meat Boy Bit.Trip Runner Jamestown Shank & NightSky HD although paying over the average of $6 also nets you Gratuitous Space Battles and Cave Story+
I'm just bringing this up because the games are awesome fun (except Bit.Trip Runner which I can't get working) and it's all for a good cause.

I'll have to look into this more tomorrow. I've been wanting to play Super Meat Boy and I'm sure the other games are worth checking out. I already have Cave Story on the DS but the lack of HUZZA really hurts my feelings

I can't speak much about Gratuitous Space Battles since the genre isn't really for me, but paying over the average to get Cave Story+ is worth it. Really fun retro-style platformer. The other five games are all a lot of fun as well, especially SMB, Jamestown and BTR. Probably the best Humble Indie Bundle yet. Not a dud in the group.
Great games for a great cause. Can't go wrong for $5-6.

I do wish that Jamestown had online multiplayer as well as local multiplayer although they were probably worried about lag problems that would screw players over.
I also somehow completed the gauntlet on difficult today. I don't know how I pulled it out of my ass.
Shank is awesome. Just a bloody, violent brawler.

From what I've read, it would be quite difficult for the devs to bring online multiplayer to Jamestown. For a game that involves pinpoint precision so much, you absolutely can't have any lag. Fortunately I think the game still holds up fine as a single-player shmup. The leaderboards are good enough for me.
Shank's good fun as well. Mindless side-scrolling beat-em-up. I really like the ability to string together massive combos that can reach as high as triple-digits. Nice art style as well.

Hmm, seems similar to the humble brony bundle that's going on. (I KNOW, but since it kinda counts) humblebronybundle.blogspot.com/Another bundle being done by bronies, which in itself is already nearing $7500

(I KNOW, but since it kinda counts) humblebronybundle.blogspot.com/Another bundle being done by bronies, which in itself is already nearing $7500 That's not a bundle itself. It's just a bunch of people donating money to a blog, and the blog then donates all that money to the Humble Indie Bundle as one contributor in an effort to be the highest contributor and better advertise the blog. Seems pointless to do that since donating to this Brony group won't get you any copies of the games.

The beauty is, you can keep adding money to your donation. So basically what the Humble Brony Bundle does is they put in the donation for a single copy of the Humble Indie Bundle, and they just keep adding to it by adding in the money that is donated to them. It is the same thing, really.

I've gotten the last three Humble Indie Bundles.
I love them. It has honestly, in addition to Valve's games, re-vitalized my interest in PC games.

Kind of thing I might look into, but really, I find PC controls so awkward and annoying that I'd sooner pay more than that for Cave Story alone on the 3DS or Wii. Granted, not all that interested in it anyway - heard good things and considered it but hype has the inverse effect on me usually.
