I think if The New Blackjacks had come along in the early 90s instead of the late 90s I believe they would have gotten over huge. Bradshaw was a bit younger but he was already wrestling by 1992. And Barry Windham was in much much better shape in the early 90s.

That was the obvious answer I came to post as well. So I'll say... New World Order Okay, they weren't really a team were they? Did the New Hart Foundation really get over? I know one that would definitely get over today... NEW NATION!

How long can a team, say, the New Rockers, could have existed before they'd no longer be new?

How long can a team, say, the New Rockers, could have existed before they'd no longer be new? New Nexus says they can be called New their entire existence.

The word "New" when applied to a rehash of something that's already been done (which excludes the New Age Outlaws and the New World Order) never works, usually because the rehash is significantly inferior to the original

I'm pretty sure the "Newly Franchised Naturals" were at least kind of over for a little bit.

Well, the New Midnight Express actually worked. But I will choose to define the New Midnight Express as Bobby Eaton and Stan Lane, and forget about those two clowns with ME plastered on their tights.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! Bodacious Bob and Bombastic Bart FOREVER! Bob Holly and Bart Gunn is a literal dream team. No really, they actually put the crowd to sleep.

I liked the New Midnight Express theme from WWF but after a year of losing matches (Gunn) and about 4 years of losing matches (Holly) how the fans could take them as a threat is beyond me. But they were loyalist to the company I'm sure and with nothing to do so they were thrown together. Now on the other hand the New Age Outlaws (not a "new" team) were Billy and Real Double J, both losing matches and feuding with each other on but they worked because they were something different and edgy and that gave them a showcase to get over. If the roles were reversed I don't think Holly and Gunn could make NAO work but I do think Billy and JJ could have made N.M.E. work somehow.

Tex Slazenger & Shanghai Pierce vs. New Blackjacks vs. Bunkhouse Buck & "Dirty" Dick Slater in a "triangle match" (as they were called in WCW at the time) would have been MONEY!
