I'm sure there are no wrestlers from my tiny hometown of Hasbrouck Heights, NJ, nor am I aware of any from surrounding towns like Hackensack or Lodi. Most Jersey wrestlers tend to be from South Jersey (DDP, Bam Bam Bigelow, Blue Meanie, Droz, Chaz, etc). Jay Lethal's hometown of Elizabeth isn't that far from it, and apparently Robbie E. is from the area as well. I just can't think of any wrestlers from the Bergen County area. Technically I wouldn't be surprised if the NYC guys are geographically the closest, but in summary I don't have a 'hometown' guy.

Rosa Mendes is actually from San Mateo, a little ways south of me. And Crash Holly was from that same general area, in Pacifica.

Davey Boy Smith came from a small town in Yorkshire.
There are probably a TON of British wrestlers that come from my immediate area (SY), but seeing as I never watched British wrestling (I wasn't even born!) I wouldn't know.

I'm from South Carolina, and I was wondering if Sgt. Slaughter and Rufus R. Jones (RIP) were REALLY from South Carolina. I was told that Rufus R. Jones was really from Dillon, SC, which is 20 minutes from where I live.

Hulk Hogan was born in my hometown - Augusta, GA.
My girlfriend is from a town near Orangeburg, SC....so therefore Shelton Benjamin.

Can't think of any wrestlers actually from my area, but Kevin Nash and Eric Bischoff both lived in Scottsdale for several years.
Oh, and Justin Roberts currently lives in Scottsdale.

If we're just talking Beaver County, PA (where I was born and raised), the two that immediately pop into mind are Shane Douglas and Dominic Denucci. Douglas is from New Brighton, while Denucci is from Freedom (New Sewickley Township, to be precise). He actually lives four miles from my parents. My in-laws are friends with him.
Moving to Western Pennsylvania in general:
Bruno Sammartino Kurt Angle Demolition Ax The Nasty Boys (Both of them) Sterling James Keenan Ken Jugan/Lord Zoltan (He's a legend in the Pittsburgh indie scene. To everyone else, he's a WWF jobber from the 80's.)

Paul London was originally from Hartford, CT where I live now. Velvet Sky was originally from Waterbury, where I was born. My sympathies, but you're in a better place now. (I think Paul London being from Hartford was kayfabed, though. Pretty sure he's really from Austin.) No one from Meriden, but Stevie Richards and J.D. Maverick (April Hunter's husband) lived in Wallingford (which sucks) for a while. Presumably, Hunter lived there too. Also, Justin Credible something something Olive Garden in Waterbury, which is about 15 minutes west of Meriden. Haha, oh! I didn't know that about London, I always thought he was just born in CT but lived in Austin for the majority of his life.

Scott Steiner, Eric Bischoff, Kevin Nash and Rhyno are from Detroit, and both Motor City Machine Guns are billed from my city, although they live slightly outside of it. There are probably a few more as well.
Also, Djm is a fellow Detroiter.

1. Adrian Adonis 2. The Destroyer Dick Beyer (He coaches high school swimming and my school swam against his team, so I saw him 2-3 times each season over the course of 4 years. Such cool guy). 3. Beth Phenoix (Actually from Elmira, which is maybe 2 hours or so away. Did go to college in Buffalo, not sure where she lives now) 4. Don Curtis (held various NWA tag belts in the 50s/60s) 5. Mark Lewin (same as above) 6. Lex Luger (Went to high school in a suburb 7. Mark Mero (Born and moved sometime when he was in middle school) 8. Brodie Lee (Actually grew up an hour east down the thruway)
