Billy Jack Haynes Ken Patera Tony Kozina
Just off the top of my head. There has to be more Portland wrestlers out there considering it used to be a hot bed turing the 70's and 80's.

I'm outside of Joliet, IL. Ironically, The closest is CM Punk in Lockport and Maria in Ottawa, which is about 30-45 minute drive west.

"Handsome" Jimmy Valiant went to Hammond (IN) Morton HS. Last time he was here was when his book came out a few years ago and he had a signing.
(I called him "Handsome Jimmy" because that's what the local papers call him. They don't usually refer to him as "The Boogie-Woogie Man".)
Roy (Shropshire) Shire went to Hammond High before he wrestled, then became better-known as one of the greatest wrestling promoters ever - in San Francisco, during the days when the Sharpe Brothers ruled tag team wrestling and Pat Patterson and Ray Stevens set the wrestling world on fire.

I'm from Hamtramck, hometown of Truth Martini.
Hamtramck is surrounded on 3 sides by Detroit. That expands the list a bit.
George "The Animal" Steele Alex Shelly Rhyno Kevin Nash Eric Bischoff
If you abuse Detroit to mean Michigan like way too many people do, you can add guys like RVD, Steiner Bros, Chris Sabin, Monty Brown but they're from all over. Lou Thesz is from the UP.

I'm from South Carolina, and I was wondering if Sgt. Slaughter and Rufus R. Jones (RIP) were REALLY from South Carolina. I was told that Rufus R. Jones was really from Dillon, SC, which is 20 minutes from where I live. Apparently, Slaughter was born in Parris Island, South Carolina. Is that from his official bio or his G.I. Joe file card? ;D

Only wrestler that I know is from Melbourne is Tenille Tayla, who's lived in Canada and eventually will go down to Florida.
Kellie Skater's from Bacchus Marsh which is just outside of Melbourne I believe.

I don't know of any wrestlers from Fort Wayne, the closest would probably be Dick "the Bruiser" from Indianapolis, who regularly ran shows here with the WWA.

If I want to get real technical, I could say only Randy Orton because we went to the same high school at the same time (I'm class of '95, he is class of '98). Florissant, MO, suburb of St. Louis.

I'm from Palm Beach, FL, so I get the rich wrestlers announced from my hometown, like Scotty Flamingo (Raven), "Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase (As his "Spring Residence"), and Ted DiBiase Jr.

Cloudy from Up In Smoke. He's buddies with a friend of mine. Met him once, seems like a cool guy.
Other indy wrestler Bobby Fish is apparently from Colonie/Albany, too.

Did he ever punt you? ;D Haha...no. He was a skinny dude back then. He apparently was also a cocky prick (according to friends and a sister I had in that grade). It was known who his dad was, though. So I would assume that added to his arrogance. However, by that time, Cowboy Bob was a car salesman in the area. I have no idea if he still did indie dates at that time.

I believe Nick Bockwinkel lives in Vegas right now, as did Bob Orton Sr. before his death. Rico Constantino was a former and possible current Las Vegas police officer. The Godfather owns a well known Vegas strip club. Val Venis was billed from Vegas, but that was kayfabe.

He apparently was also a cocky prick-so what you're saying is, Orton hasn't changed since high school, huh?
