The line up is out of this world. But the fact that the tourney's only one night this year:

Yeah, two nights would be better, but three specific things are outweighing that:
Steen Vs f***ing Finlay.
Hero Vs Willie.
And the Kings aren't leaving just yet.
Anyway, I'm thinking that Generico is gonna take it, which leads to a title feud with Steen.

PWG must have struggled to get guys, but at least they have awesome matches to make up for that.

This is kind of disappointing. I'm petty sure they pushed BOLA up to an earlier slot so they could give the fans one last taste of the KOW before WWE signs them. In fact, I bet maybe a week or two before BOLA, the sheets will start picking up the story that Hero and Claudio are officially signed.
It will be cool to see Finlay, but this is a pretty thin roster for such a big show.

It does make dollars and sense to make the tournament shorter. I hope Steen is fully healed up because Finlay is going to bring the pain. Just ask Sami Callahan.

I'll be honest, I'm glad it's only one night cause that way I get to see the whole thing. i currently live about 100 miles south of LA and it takes hours to get up there without the added friday traffic, not to mention my job doesn't end at a specific time so there is no way in hell i would have been able to make it to the first night

If it's more guys and two nights, they wind up with double the ticket money and double the DVD money to cover the expense. It's probably just an issue of availability of the venue or the talent. It is disappointing to see it's only 8 guys though.

Plus PWG doesn't have the funds to fly in major indy names regularly. We're doing good having a show almost every month.

It's going to be a blast. I am pretty new to the PWG scene (and to be honest wrestling again after a long hiatus post-Benoit) and I am having so much fun going to the shows. So glad I started to do it at the beginning of the year, it is like an old part of me is alive again and I love it.
My thoughts are Generico, Hero, Edwards and Steen in the first round. And then Generico vs. Steen in the finals.

Just so we can get a little piece of their match from Final Battle 2010 out here.

I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't a little let down by the size of the tourney this year. But beside that, the lineup and talent looks great.
I'm also pulling for Willie Mack to take it.
