Kurt has been so bad that everyone was convinced that he was less than a week from dying. Granted, right now Matt seems more out there but he might now be.

I think it would be best for TNA if Kurt took time off to get some help.

Kurt Angle is a f***ing moron. Plain and simple. There are no excuses for DUI/DWI. None.

In the months leading up to Kurt's WWE release in '06, he was actually on death watch. Fans, dirt sheet writers, people in the company were all positive that he was gonna be the next Eddy Guerrerro. It's much more then just "liking the sauce" He claims he doesn't have a problem with pills anymore, but I don't trust a damn thing he says these days. So, yeah, I'm pretty sure Kurt would be considered "in Matt's league"

Personally, I don't think he's an alcoholic. I think he thinks he can get away with it. Being able to "get away with it" is actually one of the most common mindsets of alcholics, as I've discovered through some friends who've gone down that horrible path.

question: is a DUI and a DWI same thing? A DWI is issued when the blood alcohol content (BAC) is over the 0.08 limit, whereas a DUI is a less severe term, given when a persons BAC is under 0.08. You can also get a DUI if you are under the influence of drugs, even those that you have a prescription for since there are certain over-the-counter drugs which specify that you should not drive or operate heavy machinery while using them.

Angle was just everyone's pick as the most likely guy. Looking back, it was probably Benoit.

PWtorch are reporting that Kurt passed whichever alcohol test he took so he was apparently under the influence of something else.

If true, I have a nice big plate of crow for the gun jumpers and a reminder. We went thru this many times before(Rhakah Khan anyone?)let more info come out before u judge or at least say "if guilty" or something like it before u blast him, a hardy brother ect.

He's also pleading not guilty, so there's a chance he wasn't on anything and that he's just a really bad driver, which happened to me before where I hit a curb trying to change a cd, and I was pulled over. The cop asked me if I was drinking, and I told him I could do any test he wanted to prove I wasn't. After he checked my license, he came back and said to me, so you're not drunk, you're just a bad driver.
Though it also leads to the possibility that he was under the influence of something else, and may have another drug problem, so that could be another bad sign.

No, as someone stated before, it's just different terminology used by different states. There is no "lesser offense" when it comes to drunk driving, you either drove drunk or you weren't drunk. There are however more severe DUI's/DWI's, such as here in Idaho we have arrests for "Excessive DUI" which is somewhere around double the limit or higher, not sure of the exact %, but have had a few employees arrested and convicted for it and the sentencing is a lot more strict than a normal DUI is. The stupid part in all this, which includes Hardy, is that they'd be covered by WWE's rehab offer, yet they don't go for it. They need it, would cost them nothing, but not even TNA will force them to go when it would be free for all parties involved.

TNA and DUI/DWI is starting to become a chain reaction around here.
At this point, I'm not even surprised when I hear "TNA" and "Arrested" in the same sentence.
What a mess is that company.

True, but you gotta factor in the insane bumps Kurt has taken. Matt is all the things you said, but he at least mostly plays it safe in the ring.

Assuming TNA don't fire Kurt, could Matt not sue for unfair dismissal - after all, they've both committed the same offence, so why would Kurt not be fired (all things being equal)?
